in marion tonight, police are investigating a knife attack, allegedly by this man, 50-year old david merrifield. the department tells cbs 2 newew it happened at about 12-30 this morning on

was taken to the hospital where she is expected to recover from a neck wound. merrifield is charged with domestic assault and willful injury and remains in the linn county jail. mediacom is now threating to take iowa city to court. court.yesterday, mediacom gave the city a letter of complaint and a copyf a federal lawsuit it plans to serve unless iowa city reconsiders recent agreements with cedar rapids-based cable provider i- mon communications.mediacom says those agreements put *it at a competitive disadvanange. sadvantage.the city has until december 31st to respond to mediacom's concerns.iowa city's legal department is reviewing the issue. plans to privatize iowa's medicaidrogram, are creating obstacles for children enrolled in the hawk-i program. program.37-thousand iowa children are enrolled and they'll have to find new insurance by january first.the state terminated ontracts for two of the companies that run the hawk-i program, thinking
