iowa lawmakers are now back at the state capitol for the 20-16 legislative session.n. session.there are a number of issues on their agenda after an extended 20-15 session produced little results.many have blamed that on a democrat- contolled senate e d a g-o-p led house, which will be the same scenario this year. lawmakers are expected to tackle education funding and water quality initiatives. governor branstad has already been vocal about diverting tax dollars to those areas. tomorrow - governor branstad will deliver his condition of the state address.that speech is scheduled to begin at 10am at the iowstate capitol

clinton will join bernie sanders and martin o'malley for a forum on the campus of drake university in des moines. thnew census numbers are in for north liberty. liberty.a spspial census done last year shows there are 18- thousand 228 people living in the city. city.that's up 36-percent from the last census done in 20-10. the new number is also more than a thousand people higher than what city leaders anticipated.city officials conducted the special census because they wanted a more accurate count.they hope this will mean more money for r various projects around the community. in cedar rapids.... rapids....the city is conducting a new survey. survey.the national citizen survey is designed to show how looal governments are serving their residents, and fulfilling othth areas. participants will be asked questions about topics like quality of life, and local policies.selected house-holds will receive invitations for the survey this week.the actual forms will begin arriving next week.an electronic survey will be open to everyone starting in march. iconic entertainer, david
