the night started with bernie sanders - who criticized hillary clinton for voting for the iraq war. martin o'malley asked iowan's to overturn the apple cart to boost him from a distant third in thehepolls to what would be a huge upset in the caucus. but hillary clinton came out and said that even with her once dominant lead in iowa being washed away by the sanders campaign - she's proud of the democrat race for staying focused on issues - and not slinging insults like their republican counterparts. but she also did what she's done more recently -- tying herself closely to the obama legacy and talking about how she e wants to make it better - not tear it down.
