"it was one night that turned my life around and i was like yeah this is where i need to be."last year, sheheattended mercy's job fair to hand out her resume and figure out what unit she would work in.shortly after, she accepted a position as a dialysis nurse. nurse. "people's kidneys who are not functioning anymore, we dialate their blood and get the fluid out. it's great because we see the same patients every monday, wednesday, friday. it's fun to get to know them, their lives and their stories. you really build a bond with our patients."this year, white was at the job fair promoting her job and encouraging others to become a nurse, because hospitals, like mercy medical center are looking for more nurses.
