service. nobody was hurt. this is eerily similar though to last may when a commuter train was hit by something just before an amtrak regional train crashed in philadelphia. that crash killed eight and injured nearly 200. today federal investigators gave us an update on their investigation. here is kris van cleave. >> reporter: newly released pictures taken from train 18 camera show the moment the speeding train left t e tracks. 8 dada engineer brandon bostian told investigators a minute before the accident he realized he was going ten miles too slow and began accelerating. his next memory was feeling as though i was going too fast around a curve. the train's event recorder found bostian applied full throttle a mile and a half from the curve. the train reached 106 miles an hour before bostian hit the brakes. he said i remember holding on to the controls tightly and feeling like, okay, well this is it. i'm going over. toxicology reports found no

ted cruz came out on top. surging, marco rubio. meanwhile it's a dead heat for the democrats. hillary clinton and bernie sanders are virtually tied. joining us now is cbs news director anthony. thank you for joining us. i know it's been a lodge night for you, anthony. >> it has. people are tweetininme saying they think i look exhausted. >> thanks a lot. you look a great to boost your confidence a little. let's start with republicans. there's a lot of talkbout whether donald trump is going to be able to get out hisisovice caucus supporters. how was ted cruz able to best him? >> trump did. for people who said it because their first caucus, donald trump did very well bu@ ted cruz did even better. it's very clear what ted cruz was able to do was identify not just some new caucusgoers but a lot of very regular voters, a lot of people who would be reliable voters. he did very wellith them and he did particularly well with people who called themselves very conservative. and that's sort of according to
