fire. violence and conflict in syria has killed more than a quarter of 1 million people. in iowa city. a house fire, kept crews busy overnight before hundred block of third avenue after 11 pm last night. investigators say flames swept to the attic of a home and crews put out that fire in a hurry. no one was hurt in that fire. investigators are still looking for the cause. right now. more cases of the zika virus are being reported in iowa. a few more travelers became ill recently both women between ages of 41 and 80, neither of them are pregnant. this can cause birth defects in babies and there is no vaccine at this time. dr. say the women recently traveled to areas where the virus is spreading. a big crowd gathered at the cedar rapids marriott, with part of the american heart association mission for people to build healthier lives.

research and education. tonight we will hear from those who have been impacted from heart disease. computer science is one of the fastest-growing careers in the world but in this country, only 18% of those who graduate and enter the field are women. now a coating camp for iowa girls trying to change that number. stephanie lee is here with that story tonight. >> what you see here it does not look like a language and might scare people off. it is html, which is part of a computer science. the idea behind this computer mr. teachout what about computer science give them tools to compete in the industry. >>reporter: at first glance the words and letters probably don't make sense but allison schmitt and francis locklin say this is not intimidated at all.>>it's easy for me.

we will have clear skies and a bit of a breeze. temperatures will be mild tonight and tomorrow. we will have mild and breezy weather through sunday and monday and rain and snow possible on tuesday. we have low confidence in the system, but we will keep an eye on it and temperatures start to drop for the rest of the workweek. you can see on sunday. temperatures in the 50s and 40s to the north. we start to cool down sunday night but on monday. temperatures will warm up into the 50s and start to fall again when we get to tuesday. wednesday will be elevated as well. we will have a front moves through and that will bring cooler weather in the night. but the wins will be elevated around 20 miles an hour and on monday. we will still have 15 to 20 mile an hour sustained winds

but the good news is we are staying calm for these next few days we don't have to worry about rain or snow until we get to tuesday with a system developing to the north and west. there is a front that will not bring much precipitation at all and the next one arrives on monday night into tuesday and that will lead to possibly a little bit of snow and some rain possible on tuesday but we are continuing to watch that system. any accumulation is going to feel light in nature and we will update you online as well. at cbs2 iowa .com. temperatures are 250 above average for this time of year. so it's definitely going to be a nice night, the mild weather is not going away just yet. tomorrow we will have a few more clouds in the sky with temperatures increasing. again, a few more records possibly in jeopardy and then we kind of start to decline

temperatures start to drop tuesday will be in the 30s with a chance for rain and snow and then we are near freezing. the rest of the week. but then look at saturday it could come out. it's still winter. at least you have your timing down. basketball, timing is everything. these guys have been red-hot and then they cooled off and now they are back added. some of this is the right time for the panthers. coming up in sports, they are the team that no one wants to face in the valley. have a closed out the season
