typically our high temperatures are in the mid to upper 30s in late februruy because,, of cocose, it is still winter but it was unusual we had two records broken in eastern iowa, cedar rapids and waterloo b7th tting up to 64 degrees and beating 40-year old records. so it was a bit of an unusual day today. and it's going to be a little unusual tonight as temperatures are only going to fall into the 40s. and typically our low temperatures are close to about 20 degrere this time of year. but we're going to be in the 40s so a mild night. and by tomorrow, already by 8:00, close to the 50-degree mark. so we're going to be warming up quickly once again. sohat you can expecec over the xt couple of days, it will state mild and breezy for about the next 48 hours. then we have the potential for some rain and snow on tuesday and below normal temperatures toto follow. so the spring-like weather is going to be going awayment but on predictor we'll start in the 50s.

to fall in thenight through e 30 it's. but ononday ck into the 50s once again, 40s in the north. and then temperatures will start to take a dive as we head into tuesday, and we coulde well below freezing for just a bit in the 20s to start off tuesday morning. we'll also have the winds though as we have these warm temperaturesith sustained winds tomorrow around 20 to 25 les an h hr, could e en have wind gusts up to 35 throughout the day. and then to start off monday we'll have sustained winds of about 15 miles an hour. and then as we do throughout the day on monday, windtarts to switch out of the north indicating the arrival of some cooler air. for right now, it's calm and it's mild out there. but we have some storm systems developing to our north a a st. one e stem is going to approach tomorrow and is going to move through but it's not going to cause too much noise, just reenforce t dry air we have in place. monday night into tuesday our

could lead to an increase in rain and snow. but there is little confidence in the system as it has been going back and forth. but they are indicating pretty low coverage of the snow and any accumulation should be light near half an inch to an inch across eastern iowa wshgs just likely a dusting as temperatures will start to go below freezing and these are just two of our models here, both showing really just a half an inch arielle wide. so not too much to worry about. for right now we'llll update you on the website. for tonight, mild, calm, breezy, temperatures staying in the 40s. tomorrow, still pretty good. temperatures getting close to 60 degrees. we'll have a few clouds in the sky. it will still be breezy with those wind gusts possibly up to thrive miles an hour. as we go through the rest of the week h he, 20 degree-e-ing in the opposite direction to 34 on tuesday for a chance of that rain and snow. temperatures near and below
