there were a few light showers earlier today. a lot not reaching the ground. what was there has fizzled out. there may be a couple sprinkles in dayton county. the forecast will remain dry tonight and tomorrow. that is good news with the turkey river continuing rise. we're expecting a crest at 27 feet sometime tomorrow morning. that will be where the record crest was set in 2008. the river expected to go up 11 feet tonight. up in thal cater area -- allocator area. >> it has cleared out in northwestern and north central

and sunshine tomorrow. you can see on the temperature it's cool, with interest winds from the north, a lot of locations are looking at temperature in the low to mid- 70s. and as we look at the satellite, something i wanted to show you, realigning itself. a high pressure in the eastern united states, you can see the circulation, look at the moisture from the gulf of mexico, another di from the south west as we get into tomorrow night and saturday and that will bring showers and thunderstorms back to eastern iowa it will bring humidity and warmer temperature into the pattern. as far as rainfall goes, the latest run of the model indicates the system tomorrow night and saturday isn't going to pro deuce three lain, but there's areas that will pick up

rain. tomorrow won't have weather. dew point where they are right now in the mid-60's, you can see the moisture lurking to the south. that will come to us. look for temperature to be back in the mid-50s. low 60s to the south. skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. mostly cloudy in the afternoon. mid-70s in the north, u in the south. and the extented forecast has a chance for rain on saturday, hopefully it gets out on saturday night, by sunday we're 82. after that a couple chances for storms next week, warmer temperature and higher humidity levels as summery conditions return to eastern iowa. we have new information coming
