dollars as part a separation agreement with the district. plagman resigned last month, after a substitute teacher admitted to having a sexual relationship with a student. that teacher, mary haglin, says the school found out about the relationship in february and after an investigation, the district decided to let her go. the investigation also resulted in the resignations of washington's activities director, michael johnson and the district's human resources director jill school district released the separation agreements for all three former administrators to cbs 2 news. in addtion to plagman's 170-thousand, johnson will recieve 135- thousand and cirivello 43- thousand--all over and above their retirement benefits. in exchange, the three have served well will receive 43,000, all over and above their retirement benefits. in exchange, the trio have agreed not to sue the district.

and going to iowa universities for help, the board of regents now says it wants to give them another $200,000. the regents said they needed money for their office and staff. during the last legislative session, lawmakers cut their budget by $3000. they decided to, instead give the money directly to you and i., isu and northern iowa. initially to make up the lock of the regions asked the three universities for reimbursement. now they lawmakers for what they cut and a little more to make up for inflation. stomach many are taking time today to honor the men and women who fought for freedom during world war ii. cj date marks the united states victory over japan in 19 45. right now, corridor veterans are taking time out to make sure you stay safe on the roads. a-m vets are handing out coffee, lemonade, cookies and

40s and low 50s. it looks to be pretty wide scope -- widespread. there's a storm talk about last night with crossover -- florida panhandle is a hurricane is moving off toward south carolina still a lot of rain around the weather system. it's expected to continue to slowly track onto the northeast and then lollygag around just off the coast of new jersey and virginia. so hurricane center this thing will be out here for several days to come. that means pattern is pretty were locked up and we go see major changes in our weather until about monday when southerly winds will start to warm temperatures and bring some humidity in. as far as any storms go, nothing to be concerned about there. our rainfall forecasters labor day has a drive through eastern iowa. all the pursuit of tissue will be held for the rest of us because of the storm over the eastern seaboard. next week i see a pattern change that will once again bring some heat and humidity back into the midwest.

coralville police who say they were called at his apartment buildings just before 4:00 p.m. this afternoon. we are told that it is apartment 508 on fifth street near fifth avenue on reports of eight-nine shots being fired. while police we're investigated to victims showed up at a local hospital. they've been shot but are expected to be okay. police think the shooting was targeted and is between two groups who have been a long- standing feud. no word on been arrested. police say few know anything about this to contact them. we will keep you updated on all incoming information. >> clearly was not connected to pride fest it was about a mile away from where pride fest. perfect weather, they have fireworks down there and live entertainment. the temperatures
