chances as we head to the week as well. high pressure over the mid- atlantic states, keeping the front from really moving to the southeast but it will pick up speed are as we get into tomorrow and into tuesday. you do see the front lingers to tomorrow but as we get into tuesday night and into wednesday the high pressure moves off to the southeast. the front will move through and bring in showers and thunderstorms late tuesday into wednesday. as far as what to expect with rain, our model has wider amounts down to the south beacon up to the north mainly up highway 20, some areas could see well over in inch of rain. this is due wednesday in with the ground saturated with the recent rainfall over the last couple of weeks letting is a possibility. as far as temperatures tomorrow where looking at upper 80s and we get into tuesday, tack on a degree or two as readings will be around 90 degrees in cedar rapids and low 90s possible in iowa city down toward washington.
