are gathering tonight to remember a classmate who lost his life over the weekend. 20-year-old nathan twedt was found dead just before eight saturday night in the iowa rive. river.the johnson county sheriff's office is trying to find out how he ended up in the river so if you know anything, give them a call. his classmates are holding a vigil for nathan at 8 at the campanile bell tower on campus. prolific athletes protesting on the sidelines during national anthems is racial equity is a constant concern.in the corridor - those concerns are making their way into the schools. schools.cbs 2 news reporter connor morgan is live in iowa city to explain what students - parents - and district administrators are saying about the current climate in the classroom. karen - we're just a few weeks into the school year - but based on recent student feedback - the district has its hands full in ensuring fairness in the classroom.
