ten minutes. this is cbs 2 news 10 at 10. 10.hanging in the balance.the plans that could reduce hanging in the balance, the plans that could reduce the number of people that sit on the lin county board of supervisors. first at 10, the threat for severe weather has passed. terry swails joins us right now with more on the changing conditions. terry? >> as you may recall at 6:00 within i thought the cap would be see too strong. i just didn't see too much the way of severe weather in eastern iowa. the tornado watch was canceled at 7:00. we're seeing some shower somehows work through east- central iowa. skies are clearing up in the north and west. that bodes well for tomorrow's weather. we're seeing more sunshine out there in eastern iowa. while temperatures won't be as warm as we saw today, it will be another mild day for this time of year.

went off in new jersey. no one was hurt there.but then saturday night another bomb went off in manhattan - where no one hurt there. but sunday night, another bomb went off in manhattan, where 29 people suffered injuries. this morning, police caught up with a hrtion mad rahani. he was shot and taken into custody. 2 officers that were shot are minnesota stabbing spree as a act of terrorism. a 20-year-old somali man went on a environment rampage. 9 people stabbed just after 8 on saturday night. all of the victims are expected to recover. an off-duty police officer shopping at the mall shot and killed the suspect, potentially saving lives.
