chances of rain coming up in ten minutes time. more details emerging about the prime suspect in this weekend's bombing in new york and new jersey. federal charges could come down. >> on monday, he was charged on the state level for attempted murder for police officers and gun-related charges he shot two officers. both are expected to survive. a bar owner found the suspect sleeping in the back of his pub. >> did you see that guy in the back. i said, yeah, look at the photo he looks exactly like this guy, but only the mustache. i recognize, he's the same guy are you sure? i said yes, call the cops

trying to figure out if he had any help in the bombings that injured 29 people. they said he made three trips to afghanistan and one trip to pakistan. they have not made links to isis or terror groups. police are looking for links responsibilty for the act - but right now authorities say they haven't found a direct link.the suspect - 20-year-old dahir adan was originally from somalia.he was shot by part time officer jason falconer - who authorities now say stopped the attack from getting worse.falconer wasn't working on saturday - he just happened to be at the right place - at the right time. iowa senator and chair of the senate judiciary committee chuck grassley wants to know more about ?both terror suspect. suspects.senator grassley told cbs 2 news he was briefed by the f-b-i on monday about ther investigations -- but he's requesting the full immigration and criminal histories of the two men. men.grassley says "these clues

spot. with low 50s in fort dodge. looking at the highs today, we'll get to the low 80s, all of this air will move our way tomorrow we see a few cloud-covered skies in the northwestern part of the state. scattered showers and thunderstorms around dakotas. an area of low pressure building down to the south and the west and comes in a warm front and that front pushes in through iowa this afternoon. we'll notice the winds turning baaing to the south, as it happens, humidity coming back up as well. dry weather today. the skies turn partly cloudy and we will find some rain chances overnight. more so through the afternoon tomorrow. we see some scattered showers

counties in north-east iowa that were hit hard by heavy rains and flash flooding. flooding.the high waters ruined roads -- homes and shutdown schools.one person died when their car was swept away in high water. governor branstad has already issued a ?state disaster proclamation. if president obama adds a federal declaration -- it would open up more assistance to local and state agencies trying to recover. a massive oil spill has several states bracing for a gas price jump. the colonial pipeline carries fuel from houston to new york. was shut down after more than 200-million gallons of gas erupted from an underground pipe in alabama. six southern states are now under emergency orders - allowing oil workers to work longer hours in hopes of avoiding a crisis. neighbors near the spill are worried about environmental impacts. the e-p-a says most of the oil spilled into a mining retention pond and doesn't pose a risk to residents. some gas stations in those six states who are now under emergency orders are at times

many drivers to scramble looking to fill up their vehicles.in north carolina -- when stations have gas -- consumers have to be weary about price gouging.yesterday -- at least four hundred consumers had filed complaints in that state -- accusing gas stations of raising their prices to make a buck off the gas shortage. that pipeline mishap is r- energizing groups opposed to the bakken oil pipeline that will cut diagionally through io. iowa.this weekend -- dozens of people were arrested in south-east iowa ar more than 40 demonstrators were cited for trespassing on a dakota access worksite. people opposed to the project say the break in alabama adds to their argument that pipelines pose a danger to the land they run through. adam mason iowa citizens for community improvement 1;01;57;03 this recent spill in the south definitely reenforces our concerns about a spill here in iowa. you know we've seen hundreds of spills over the last 10 years it's just iowa common sense thats not a question of if the
