un you can see oelwein is in there, charles city and decatur. some strong storms after midnight tonight. also a flash flood watch is in effect and this goes out until 7:00 on thursday. all the counties in green are involved in that. so from waterloo to north and west the potential is west for flash flooding for the next few days. looking at the radar thunderstorms are beginning to develop in earnest in south- central minnesota. border. these will turn southeast as we go through the night so heavy rain and severe weather in our northern counties will be a possibility and flash flooding could be a threat as we get into the late-night hours. this region is -- has seen a lot of rain. most of the storms tonight will be in the north and we will tell you with the rest of us under investigation at a florida police force. force.ocala police chief greg

tonight, ocala city leaders voted to temporarily remove graham from that post pending an investigation into multiple sexual harassment allegations. chief graham has denied any wrongdoing. federal authorities have now charged the new york and new jersey bombing suspect. suspect.ahmad khan rahami is being held on a five-point-two- million-dollar bond. bond.right now - investigators are still combing through rahami's apartment for evidenc. evidence.over the weekend - rahami planted two bombs on the jerseynd nearly 30 were injured during one of the explosions. investigators are now digging into rahami's past.they are looking at trips he made overseas and why he could have possible been radicalized.as of right now - the f-b-i hasn't found any connections to a known terror group. the attacks in new york, new jersey and minnesota have become the focus in the race for president. president.donald trump is

>> the man who murdered his grandparents in manchester now has a chance to be released from prison. the iowa supreme court banned mandatory life sentences for juveniles convicted of first- degree murder. isaiah sweet was 17 when he shut his grandparents in the manchester home in 2012. now suite still has a life sentence but with the possibility of parole. although there is no guarantee he will be a free man those who prosecuted the case do not want to take any chances.>> boards come and go and things change but people like isaiah sweet i do not believe will ever change. >> suite now 21 is serving his life sentence in fort madison. >> been county jury will resume deliberations for second full day tomorrow morning. they're working to reach a verdict in the david miller first-degree murder trial. he is accused of beating and strangling sabrina hustad janish in his home last year.

wife boyfriend more than 30 years ago can be a free man. 57-year-old anthony burtch shot and killed lance dewoody in august 1985. he was charged with murder only this past april after dna testing linkedin to the killing. a judge said that evidence did not match birch. investigators say to what he was dating the estranged wife. his body was found coralville. monitoring device. now ten at ten continues with a look at tonight's other stories across the corridor. right now iowa city leaders are trying to make a plan so more people can afford to live there.in june, they put together 15-affordable housing recommendations.they've had two months to get thoughts from residents and local organizations.now the council is trying to decide which of those recommendations from money to regulations should be
