talking about about hurricane matthew. >> it's a category 2 hurricane now, but it will still have some impact and did cause loot of damage through florida earlier today. it's now moved past the florida/georgia border and is causing impacts in parts of georgia. some parts of north florida did have problems with flooding, winds pushing the ocean waters onto the shore. that did lead to flooding in several area and some damage there. now the center of the storm is level with brunswick, georgia. we have a flash flood warning in savannah and other areas. the storm will continue to move to the east with worsening conditions near savannah right now. can you see the eye typically when we are talking about

landfall. this hurricane just parallel to florida's coast, did not make landfall, scene not expected to landfall. it could come very close in georgia or the carolinas as it just parallels the coast. it may make landfall. but the chances are very low. it will continue to impact both south carolina and north carolina through about sunday. then it is expected to make turn back down to the south. it will weaken, but then could parts of the bahamas and maybe even florida. this looks like a sunny thing that's going on, but this is actually the track that is ongoing. it will likely weaken, could bring an additional round of some rain and possibly some high winds to parts of the bahamas and florida by the middle of next week. >> more than a million people are without power after matthew's brush with florida. the winds topped 130 mile an

trees and power lines were all brought down. homes were damaged. some roads are even washed out. the devastation is far worse in haiti, where hurricane hath thousand roared through earlier this week. various agencies report that 300 to 500, some as high as 800, are now dead. the number keeps rising. haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world and they're still recovering from a crippling earthquake a few years ago. the scope of the devastation in haiti is rallying sup of miles away, dora? to help -- it doesn't necessarily mean traveling to the affected area.for some organizations here in iowa, it's as simple as sending what is needed to those who may have lost everything. everything. hurricane matthew has tested the toughness of the people in haiti... but organizations like the community health initiative have been there to h. >> reporter: organizations like community health initiative have been there to help.

we have warmer temperature. 24 hours ago, we were 20 to 30 degrees warmer than we are right now. temperatures are falling down rather quickly. 39 in charles city, 46 in waterloo. temperatures will don fall through the night tonight as we have cleaver sky and light winds. that will allow those temperatures to fall down by morning into 38 in cedar rapid, 39 in iowa city, 36 in waterloo, and in owine, 34 in charles city and decorah. some spots north of highway 20 cowl be experiencing some patchy frost. it's not going to be very widespread, but where we have temperatures close to 35 and below, frost will start to develop. typically when we have our first frost or freeze, when
