>> a former jail administrator is now facing criminal charge, 49-year-old car run worked at the cedar county jail for two and a half years before leaving in december of 2015. that report -- with first degree theft on saturday. this followed a report by the state auditor that showed roughly $35,000 of undeposited collections, unbilled fees and dispersement during the employment. they believe he used to steal or -- from the sheriff's offers over time. >> he could face up to ten years in prison if convicted. >> students at the university of iowa are being questioned about a report of an active shooter that turned out the be a hoax. they were called to burge hall after 5:00 last night. a spokeswoman says a student receive a text message a friend saying there was an active shooter in side the residents hall. after police arrived the same student received a second text
