brezy but very warm as temperatures hit the 70s once again across most of eastern iowa. right now at a cool 48 degrees. radar you can see there's no rain anywhere despite the fact we're still looking at clouds in the east. but even there, those will be thinning out quickly so tomorrow we'll begin the day with mostly sunny conditions and with south winds blowing up to 25 or 30 temperatures will be in the mid-70s tomorrow afternoon and weekend forecast will be coming up in just a couple minutes. right now vandalism found at the home at the home of a black hawk county supervisor. kevin barry has been tracking the story all day. he has the latest now from the democrat -- and only openly gay person running for black hawk county supervisor.he says so far -- the race involving

based.this morning -- he found this outside his home.a handful of yard signs were spray-painted -- some with homophobic slurs that we can't fully show on tv. the johnson county the johnson county auditor tells me he is expecting 23,000 completed ballots to be here by the end of today.he says they are trying to make this process as this process as quicks and as easy as possible and there are things you can do to help too. >> reporter: by the time it's november #, thousands of johnson county residents will have already shared their voice. >> it was easy. it's fairly busy. had to wait for someone to be available but not very long. and they explained the process really well and then voted and now its done. >> it took me 3 minutes to do it. >> reporter: that's what the johnson county auditor wants to hear. >> we're averaging probably now over 600 a day at the office and that doesn't include we have satellites open right now. >> reporter: he says if you're voting early where there maybe a lot of university students

degrees here in cedar rapids now back to 48 and winds are in out of the southeast at 5 miles per hour. as we go through the night those will turn southerly. and tomorrow south westerly winds. the temperatures refrequent where the clouds are still found from charles city to waterloo. just northeast of there is where the clouds are found and that's where read gsz are in the low 40s. no sun to so it's definitely clearing and that's going to make for much better day tomorrow. even though we have clouds over northeastern iowa and up through wisconsin and illinois, our radars are not detecting any precipitation and nice and quiet tonight just the way we like it. let's go to the satellite, you can see the last of the clouds trying to work their way out of eastern iowa. here in the scombern central

sunshine and temperatures, 10 to as much as 20 degrees warmer than what we saw today. here is the high pressure tonight. settle the right over eastern iowa as we go through the night it will continue to move off to the east and a warm front develops. there is a chance there could be patchy areas of fog. i don't think it's going to be overly dense. the main feature are southerly winds that will blow tomorrow and they will get a little gusty in the afternoon. winds from the southwest and dry air and all kinds of our temperatures will warm up quick and by tomorrow afternoon, we are up into the 70s around many parts of eastern iowa and it looks like the warmth will continue to saturday. there will be a front that comes through during the late afternoon or evening hours. it will keep things a little cooler up north still from cedar rapids and dubuque down to tama there southwest temperatures will be well into the 70s and friday night football tomorrow night. the first round of playoffs
