>> hey guys i'm glad you mentioned ham wean. we've had some sightings around town of a mummy that's been dancing tonight, and by gosh i think we found him here. and you can see he's going to town, and the reason why is because it's going to be so nice tomorrow. temperatures for trick-or-treat ing should be in the range of about 60 to 62 degrees. so when the mummies are doing the dancing it's got to be pretty good day. so we're expecting nice mild temperatures for trick-or-treat ing and no rain too. is dry here in eastern iowa and in many parts of the upper midwest. so the pattern does look condid you sir for more dry weather tomorrow it's towards midweek we'll see our next chance of any precipitation and right now we still have mostly clear skies in eastern iowa, but that will change later tonight and tomorrow as a warm front approaches from the west. and once again that is going to surge our temperatures to well above normal temps tomorrow afternoon. today though this high pressure brought down the readings a little bit.
10:16 pm
degrees from where we were yesterday. that kept us at 60 for a high compared to the 75-degree reading we saw yesterday, and this warm front will start advancing towards us as we go through the night. so i'm expecting temperatures to level off or maybe even go up a few degrees as we get towards the early morning hours. then during the day tomorrow this fronts continues to advance towards northwestern iowa in advance of that we'll have pretty tight pressure gradient so it will be a little bit breezy tomorrow and we will see clouds from time to time but the temperatures should be and that's about 10 to 12 degrees above what's typical at this time of year. that front to the west of us will eventually cross the mid west and head in here sometime on wednesday and we do think there is a decent chance for some rain at that time. models currently are thinking that the track of the storm will keep the heavier apartments in the southern half of our region, but if this was to move a little further to the north or south these rain totals would be -- the bottom

forecast wednesday or wednesday night. tonight's forecast then partly cloudy skies temperatures that will drop to the upper 30s to lower 40s in our northern counties. winds will be southeast at 5 to 10. as we get into tomorrow make that tonight in the south, looks like temperatures should be around 40 to 45 degrees with partly cloudy skies and cool conditions. now we get into tomorrow we move you back to the north here and you can see those temperatures in the low to mid- 60s will make for a really here and there a few passing clouds other than that no issues with rain. down south a little warmer 66 cedar rapids go for 68 in significant or any and washington. hopefully we can mix in a little bit of sunshine. here is the long-range forecast after halloween we're even warmer on tuesday, 73 expected there. then comes the storm system wednesday some showers and storms expected after that. but even though the front goes by the temperatures don't drop
10:18 pm
70s all week long. that's a mighty fine forecast. nothing speak there. >> we turn to meteorologist rebecca kopelman for what you can expect for your corridor commute tomorrow. >> the weather won't get in your way tomorrow we don't have any major traffic delays the newspaper mummies may come out and scare you a bitty specially during the evening hours. but we won't really have any issues until about tuesday along parts of highway 30 and that is where the 80th street bridge is going to be demolished. so there is going to be tour. that is actually going to start on tuesday and the detour is going to be mainly between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. and you'll have to actually get off of highway 30, get off at 16th avenue and go around. that's both east and westbound and that is going to be all the way through about november 24th. so could cause some delays there and you know it's halloween coming up. so do want to give a good reminder to drivers just keep an eye out on the roadie specially if you're driving

vernon: they're like a lot of iowans -- they get up early, get the kids to school, and get to work. but too often, washington stacks the deck against us. we need to build an economy that works for the middle class. instead of giving breaks to big business, we need to cut taxes for the middle class and small business. i'm monica vernon, and i approve this message i served under president bush and obama. i fought the taliban. i was asked to form a global coalition to counter isil. when someone makes the comment that they know more about the islamic state or isil than do the generals, it implies a complete ignorance of the reality. but i believe secretary clinton really understands the threat that the islamic state poses to the united states and to the american people. and i believe she understands how to wield american power to ultimately defeat this threat
