once again and is not showing any precipitation around eastern iowa or around the midwest. the weather pattern is very benign. all the action is up north of canada are down south to the gulf of mexico. the midwest is high and dry and is destined to stay that way for several more days to come. here is a look at the satellite tonight. you can't even find a cloud on here as this big expanse of high pressure continues to move slowly across the high pressure will be southerly and that will mean a nice uptick in temperatures and we should be about 10 degrees warmer than what we were today. the morning commute tomorrow is looking like a good one in eastern iowa with temperatures around the corridor in the range of 35 to 37 degrees at 7:00 and. wens will be southwest at 5 to 15 and the skies will be sunny in the morning and at noon and all afternoon. looks like another gorgeous day for us. another thing we are expecting

you can expect that this time of year as lowe's get back into the 30s. it will be breezy and even warmer than today. we will be in the 60s for highs and this quiet weather pattern is going to last right through the weekend at least to the first part of next week. steady as she goes as far as that is concerned. we have not had any rain and cedar rapids cents -- and until november 18. we will go 18 consecutive days with no rain. it's no big deal because we have had plenty of rain this year. at this point of the year we are running seven point 68 inches above normal here in cedar rapids. this high pressure with is raging all through the middle of the country and it just got dry and quiet weather. tomorrow as this punches a little bit further off to the

be out of the southwest all day tomorrow and that will send the temperatures pretty much into the 60s and maybe close to 70 in our southern county. this will come through tomorrow night and will cooler temperatures a little bit as we go into the first part of the weekend. as we mentioned the pattern looks really dry all the way up to next tuesday. our models are not indicating any precipitation here in eastern iowa so get used to the center and we will see plenty of that in the days ahead. the forecast in the north has low temperatures in the tonight. southern counties will be in the mid to upper 30s about 36 and cedar rapids and 37 in iowa city. for tomorrow more sunshine and temperatures warmer than today around 64 to 66 up and are northern counties. down south looks like i should be approaching the mid and upper 60s maybe even 70 down around tipton and iowa city. the long-range forecast is dry for the next seven days.
