temperatures in the 40s to start. the afternoon temperatures have a good chance to reach the lower 70s in some parts of the region. tonight fair skies and warmer conditions and tomorrow near record highs. we have sharply colder conditions expected along with gusty wind. near record warmth. these are the forecasted highs for tomorrow and the records for you can see most of us have a record around 71-75 degrees. we will probably end up a little short of that, but an amazingly nice day expected in terms of tomorrow's temperatures. the storm that i was talking about are getting organized over eastern colorado and this warm front will lift north were tonight. tomorrow they will be up in minnesota and wisconsin and we will have a nice flow of southwesterly wind which will

again, a lot of places in the upper 60s to lower 70s in many parts of iowa and illinois. the low pressure, as the tracks to the northeast, will develop a strong cold front. by noon on friday, that should be just getting into eastern iowa and you can see the pressure gradient is tight. that means a lot of wind and cold air producing snow in minnesota and starting to search across the state of iowa. we think the front should enter iowa between 9:00 a.m. and noon on friday morning. notice what happens to the temperatures. we are down the 51. by the evening we will be down to the freezing mark. we will drop 32 degrees and 15 hours time with wind as high as 35 miles per hour. the weekend looks to be the coldest we have seen around here since february 13-14. tomorrow night, temperatures in the 40s. down south, temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. 47 in cedar rapids and 48 and rapid city -- in rapid city.
