seven random members of the community will make up the grand jury.it takes five of the seven votes to return an indictment.linn county attorney jerry vander sanden tells cbs 2 news he's also seeking additional information about this case from state investigators. new information tonight about the man accused of murdering two des moines area police officers earlier this month. month.reports show the suspect -- scott michael greene-- was previously flagd to potential officers for at least two years.greene is accused of shooting and killing officer justin martin and sargeant tony beminio in an ambush style attack on november second.right now, green faces two counts of murder and is being held on ten million dollars bond. separation of church and state. that's the argument against the upcoming "pray and serve" corridor event this weekend. why the prayer service to

now turned controversial. coming up tonight on the cbs 2 news ten at ten. as many as 150-juveniles in iowa prisons will now get shorter sentences.it's part of an iowa supreme court decision that juveniles should earn good behavior credit at a faster rate.it applies to kids convicted of forcible felonies - like kidnapping and attempted murder- who were resentenced from mandatory minimum terms.the ruling means those who can't serve mandatory sentences could get percent of the original sentence. the holiday season is also called the season of giving. giving.cbs 2 news reporter mellaney moore is here to share how helping out, could help you. for organizations who rely on donations, this is a critical time of the year.but as i also learned today, giving is good for you too. too. the johnson county crisis
