obamacare would impact iowa's health and wellness plan. shopping for medical care is not like shopping for a car or a major household appliance. in fact, most people don't even look for the best hospital prices before being admitted. there is a retail price for everything in any hospital. and that retail price includes all of the accumulated charges for a specific procedure. case in point, open heart surgery. "the charge for the operating room, the charge for the anesthesia time, the those items will have an individual charge which is what shows up on your bill."and hospital prices often exclude any professional charges from all the attending physicians. tonight, i take you shopping to show you how to compare prices at corridor hospitals--and why getting an exact price is often futile. it's a story i'm working on right for cbs 2 news ten at 10. with thanksgiving just a few days away, the salvation army

that's big for iowa going forward, too... "we've been relying on our offensive line -- the big guys -- a few of them are nicked up and hurt and um we need the next man in. i know paulson great.... i was laughing about it because coach brian congratulated him and told him he didn't give up no sacks today""fortunately you know we had a full week to get them ready... you know keegan went through some up's and down's. looks like he's kinda settling down ... and thats critical because we're getting a little thin"after such a dominate performance -- it was that the hawks would be feeling the love from the big 10 -- and the confrence didn't disappoint -- leshun daniels was named the big 10's offensive player of the week -- and riley mccarron took home the conference's special teams player of the week honor -- and josey jewell -- who leads the big 10 in tackles -- was named a finalst for the butkus award -- which is given to the nation's best linebacker. and don't forget to tune in to the regular season finale of i on the hawks -- marc morehouse, mike hlas, and myself will preview iowa's game against nebraska -- the show starts at 6:30 on wednesday -- not it's normal

wednesday -- 6:30 -- on fox 28. don't look now, but iowa state is on a win streak -- it's the first time since 2013 that the cyclones have won back to back games -- and now the goal is to close the season out with 3 straight wins not only would a win on saturday be the biggest of the season with 14th ranked west virginia coming to jack trice -- but it would also help the clones move into the off- season with some momentum -- "i would be a thing to get this team going... a win would like to see the deal and coach campbell has been talking about for the people coming in so it would be huge." "more people are jumping in the boat and saying man i want to be like that or i want to play like that and i'm going to prepare the way those guys are to be successful so that part is what i'm really excited about this week and then obviously a great challenge against a really good football team."
