have developed across the central counties. most of which is between highway 30 and highway 20. as you can see there is blue in here so in some spots some wet snowflakes. a lot of this is just sprinkles and moving quickly to the east and after midnight this comes to and from west to east. no major concerns with this disturbance. it's out of the area by early tomorrow morning. after that i do think we will have clouds. there's not much clearing to the west of us. another overcast day here in eastern iowa. if you are up early and doing traveling or shopping it looks like temperatures should be around 33 degrees. eventually temperatures will get to 42 degrees. there is good news in the weekend forecast is temperatures are expected to make a nice rise.

coverage of the protests of the the code access pipeline. volunteers in wisconsin were hitting the road with hundreds of pounds of food. this week 10 volunteers packed up a bus and took offered north dakota to feed the people protesting the pipeline there. people donated meat, milk and roles to the volunteers.>> we need to do something. we started talking about it and made it happen. >> we are going to have a lot of stew. >> this is about thanksgiving. >> volunteers plan to cook as much as they can and donate the rest to other groups were preparing food. the goal is to feed as many people as possible. the salvation army famous red kettles are out across the kettle campaign.cbs 2 news reporter joe husinga shows us how you

shoppers are getting a head start. we've seen people camped out in weather that is silly. this is not too bad. >> most people would take this. we are above normal and any time you are on the plus side you have to take it. we will keep it even better as we get into the weekend. once this disturbance moves by will get southerly winds. temperatures over the weekend should be in the 50s. tonight after a dry date we do have a weak disturbance streaking by you could see is producing light precipitation. most of what you are looking at is between interstate 80 and south of highway 20. it continues to move to the east. it looks worse than it is. a lot of this is not reaching the ground. when you are seeing are sprinkles. if you light showers of rain and snow will be found as it moves by shortly after midnight.

if you will be doing some shopping or traveling tomorrow you won't see any major weather issues. will start the day in the 30s and end up at 40 degrees for the afternoon high. i don't think we will see much of the sun. once a system goes by the clouds are lingering out there in nebraska and south dakota. it's going to take another day or so before those get at here. it will be a pretty day but the temperatures should be back around 40 degrees and that's few degrees above normal for this time a year. as this disturbance crosses the midwest and trying to squeeze out those light showers and that's moving quickly. on the predictor embellishes any precipitation. our model is not impressed with the system. by tomorrow morning any precipitation is gone. you could still see the clouds. around noon time in the western county the models indicating a bit of clearing. it will be

late tomorrow afternoon or tomorrow evening we should break out the clouds and that will set us up for saturday with sunshine in the skies and southerly winds and tempter's have a good chance to reach up to 50 degrees. the hawkeyes have a game at kinnick stadium and that starts at 2:30 the afternoon. if you're heading that way you want to dress warmly. the kickoff temperature around 41 degrees with westerly winds at 10 miles per hour. considering the time of year ordered one not too bad. over the next temperatures rising over the weekend with the south winds and the storms over the us. we may reach 57 degrees which is 18 degrees above normal. on wednesday and thursday temperatures go back into the 30s which is more typical for this time of year our next-door system comes on late sunday through monday. you can see the models on precipitation.
