snow that will end after midnight tonight and that will be pretty much it for the next couple of days. and, the snow is running a little late. we did the back in the record books and 84 out of the past 124 years, we have seen measurable snow by this time, november 30. not this year, just a few flakes and we will consider that a trace. typically the first one inch of snow occurs around december 1 and we won't have that. we are running late on the snow tomorrow morning, that will be gone and we still have clouds around. it looks like temperatures to start the day should be in the range of 33-34 degrees. this center -- is centered around the great lakes states and the trough extends west from that and that is what is squeezing out the moisture in the upper-level disturbance there. as it moves by, it takes the actual snow with it. clouds will hang tough for the next 24 hours and i don't see

friday. here is the predictor and at 7:00 it shows a few isolated snow showers around. by midnight, those have moved to the east and by tomorrow morning i think the snow showers will be gone. we will still have clouds. here we are at noon and there are no big changes and a lot of clouds around. by tomorrow night, we are still in the clouds and with the absence of sunshine tomorrow, the temperatures will not go up 40s for the high temperatures. now, i want to take you up in the satellite and you can see this coming off the pacific. there are three disturbances and one of those is causing the snow today and another one could produce light snow on saturday and sunday. another one behind that is a bigger system. we have two models here and this is what the u.s. one is showing. it is showing it going from western iowa and producing heavy snow through the plains states and into western minnesota. the european model takes a different track and it runs a further to the south and

all we can tell you is that we have to wait a couple of more days to get the track ironed out. the system will impact some part of the mixed wet -- the midwest by next week. temperatures around 31-33 for the low was scattered snow showers around for the next few hours. on the south end, temperatures are expected to bottom out around 33 in cedar rapids and 35 in sigourney. again, scattered snow showers in spots. for the north tomorrow, more clouds around and a cold day with temperatures in the mid- 30s. 35-36 should do it. the southern counters -- county slightly warmer with temperatures at 36-38. there will be westwind to 10- 15. the next chance of snow is late saturday night and early in the day on sunday. we warm up to 43 on monday and then the next storm comes in producing rain or snow in parts
