-- the national league championship series t-shirt. acknowledge thank you, shu. even a steady rain couldn't dampen the celebrations. tomas ha reason -- >> reporter: they've been clogging the streets. things are quieter now, but earlier there were a lot of people here, and there's still a strong police presence here. just after the game ended, at&t park became madness for the hundreds of fans watching in bars and homes all over san francisco, and they all converged here a couple of hours ago. the crowd started to gather right after the giants cinched the pennant. hundreds of fans con -- converged on the store at at&t

to buy t-shirts. the police came in to try to control traffic, but they couldn't control the enthusiasm of the crowds, so that was allowed to run free. >> celebrate world series. all over again. >> a crazy crowd. >> it's beautiful. my people right here! they're ready to have a good time. go giants! fear the beard. >> because of the volume of vehicles, we can't move the crowd until they have nothing to yell at. >> reporter: the traffic has been allowed to run free. but take a look at union street at the bar none. the bar none was packed shoulder-to-shoulder, and this is the reaction when the giants clinched the pennant. the place just went crazy. people were yelling for about half an hour. just couldn't get over the fact their giants are now national league pennant winners.

we're back here at at&t park. there is still a police presence. we still have some crowds around the giants store. we can't see them but the store appears to still be open. people are still yelling and screaming and attempting to buy some giants memorabilia. so far the streets around at&t park are open, traffic is flowing. again, if you can avoid this area, please do so. there's still a strong police presence trying to control traffic in the area. reporting live in san san francisco. >> alan: season ticketholders have priority to get into the world series. if you're a fan trying to score a few tickets for game one, it's going to cost you a small fortunate. stub hub the market for major league tickets has them on sale from 450 to -- and on craigslist

they range from 450 to $4,150. the victory party has been going on in the pouring rain. it's the season's first significant rainfall. 24 homes and businesses lost power this evening when this fallen tree pulled down utility lines. firefighters had to cut this tree into small pieces. and traffic moved briskly through the rain on highway 101 this afternoon. this area sometimes floods. we go to leigh glasser to see where the rain is tonight. >> leigh: you can see behind me on live doppler 7 hd the bands of moisture continue to feed in across the bay area. we had a little bit of a break earlier this afternoon, but that has since started to fill back in, and you can see some of the rain bands, the green just to the south of winsor now, heading

periods of rain, heavier rain expected on sunday, and then we get a little clearing monday afternoon, tuesday, and wednesday. here's the next storm system already starting to push moisture in our direction. very strong area of low pressure. a lot of moisture associated with this. this is what is going to bring us periods of heavy rain, and you can see from the animation, overnight, the rain bands continue to filter in. at it going to be tomorrow morning, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, when the front gets very close to the bay area, and that's when the heavy rain starts to move across the bay area. and will push south, and then some clearing tomorrow night. now, the wind will pick up overnight. a wind advisory is up over the bay area.

and gusts close to 30 to 45 miles-per-hour, mainly in the higher elevation, and the rainfall, north bay, definitely a bull's eye, two to four inches there, and look for maybe a half an inch to an inch and a half. a real soaker headed to the bay area. and the high winter storm warning above the 7500-foot level. very strong winds expected there, and periods of heavy rain. for the bay area tomorrow, temperatures much like today, mid-to-upper 50s. maybe a few mid-to-low 60s. out towards antioch and livermore. definitely count on periods of heavy rain, especially as the front moves through. morgan hills tomorrow, 54. the accuweather seven-day forecast, showers monday morning, and then turn it off for at least a couple of days. wednesday, when the giants may, we're going be okay.

you know it's bad when the press asks if you'd take a lie detector test. meg whitman didn't tell the truth about not voting or about how long she lived in california. she got caught in insider deals at goldman sachs. she changed her story about physically abusing an employee. she campaigned as tough as nails on immigration knowing her housekeeper of 9 years was undocumented. her tv ads have been condemned as false and misleading. and even her hometown newspaper said meg whitman has demonstrated "a loose relationship with the truth"
