sector in a state where public employ unions put their political muscle behind brown. >> i am a proven job creator. that's what i've done for my entire career. jerry brown has been part of the war on jobs and it's going to ends on tuesday. >> whitman's campaign sayless the same erj nationwide will sweep her into victory in her first ever run to political office. oakland police are searching for a gunman who opened fire during a halloween concert injuring nine people. the shooting happened just after midnight inside sweet ballroom on broadway where 600 people were attending a party called frightfest. hundreds of partygoers and most of the victims were hit in the arms and legs and none of the injuries were life-threatening. all were stable and most were expected to be released today after treatment. >> still trying to investigate

how this started, who's all involved. >> investigators say most of the victims were hit by stray bullets. they believe a man wounded in the back was the target. but so far no one's been arrested. vallejo police need your help to capture three women who detectives believe are responsible for a string of at least four robberies. this picture shows the car the suspects have been using. detectives believe it's a light gray or silver volvo made between 1985 and 1990. the robbers appear to be women between 17 and 19 years of age, but a man has been seen driving the car. in all four cases the women get out of the car, assault female victims and rob them. the first robbery took place on october 22nd and the most recent happened on friday. >> bart was at three stations after police found a suspicious device at the san leandro station. police pulled the driver over for a traffic violation around

8:30 this morning about 20 yards from the bart tracks. in the trunk of his car they found a device covered with duct tape and old wires and old cellphone attached. the area was evacuated and the bomb squad was called in. as a precaution bay fair station and coliseum stations were all closed. >> from everything they saw on it had indications it was an explosive device. so that being the case, they were very concerned for the safety and welfare of those around them. the general citizens. so they evacuated the area and cordoned off the scene. >> investigators determined the device was harmless and bart stations reopened just after 10 a.m.. officials in yemen have released a woman originally suspected of trying to mail two powerful bombs to the u.s. earlier today university students in yemen protested the woman's ahe rest. the 22-year-old is studying

computer engineering. officials believe someone else stole her identity and used it to spend the packages. it means authorities no longer have anyone in custody in connection with the attempted terrorist attack. >> president obama's counterterrorism adviser says the u.s. is not taking any chances. officials are looking for more packages like the ones found on board cargo planes in the u.k. and dubai carrying explosives. u.s. officials are working to better understand the threat. >> we can't presume there are none other that are out there. what we're trying to do is work closely with our partners overseas to identify all packages that left yemen recently. >> the package is found on ups and fedex planes originated in yemen. they were being shipped to jewish synagogues in chicago. they work with overseas partners to identify all packages that left yemen recently. they want to block those packages from entering the u.s. the white powder they believe
