non-stop football... it's a man cave! the boys next door will never leave. who says we want them to? good evening, we begin with developing out in of tucson on this one-week anniversary of the deadly rampage that killed six. a town hall meeting ended in chaos when one of the victims from last weekend's shooting was arrested. he objected to two conservative speakers, took a picture of one of them and said, quote, you're dead. fuller was taken into custody. congresswoman giffords is showing more signs of recovering. doctors replaced her breathing tube with a tracheotomy tube. here's more. >> reporter: the safeway it

again re-opened for the first time since a gunman turned its parking lot into a killing ground. at a makeshift shrine, a moment of silence was held. a silence in blessed contrast to the chaos of last week. >> multiple, multiple victims. >> customers tackled the suspect and are holding him down at the safeway. >> reporter: first responders recalled the scene. >> you could see the chaos going on. >> i still can't grasp how big this is. this is amazing. >> reporter: the accused gunman, jared loughner made this video. >> this is the school. >> reporter: it's punch waited with rambling commentary. >> if a student is unable to locate the external universe, then the student is unable to locate the internal universe. >> reporter: loughner is seen just briefly as a ghostly reflex in a glass door.

giffords is in critical condition with a bullet wound to the head. they took her off a respirator today. president obama said -- >> we discovered stores to lift us up, stories of heroism, bravely, courage and community, stories that remind us that we are one american family. >> reporter: a family still in mourning. abc news. a private memorial was held mid-arizona for another of the shooting victims, gabrielle symzimmerman. he was a congressional aide to gabrielle giffords. there was also a memorial for another victim, phyllis schneck. >> a group called crossroads of the west is putting on a gun show. 4,000 people turned out in

tucson today, the mood described as less upbeat than past shows. the group thought about canceling the event. as for the local gun show, lisa amin gulezian joins us live. his. >> the event was packed and they were talking about the shootings in tucson. thousands filled the cow palace. we weren't allowed inside, but outside attendees lined up looking for deals. >> i already have weapons, but i may be purchasing another one. >> reporter: ever since the shooting rampage in tucson, gun sales have gone up in arizona as well as several other states, and words spreading among second amount amendment supporters, the open carrier who happened to be shopping nearby. >> anybody needs to be taken

>> slammed the door shut, and just the fact three shots fired, about.22 caliber, small-round fire. and nothing loud. >> terry: anyone with information is asked to call san francisco police. a teenaged boy was killed and two other people injured after gunfire broke out in the bay point residential neighbor last night. officers found a 17-year-old buy lying outside a house with a gunshot wound, 15-year-old and a 20-year-old man were treated for minor injuries. there are no suspects in the case. a rape suspect is hospitalized this evening after police say he assaulted an 80-year-old in-law in richmond. the suggest suspect is anthony square and will be placed in custody as soon as the hospital releases him. his injury is not being disclosed. the rape was reported friday morning. the victim was treated at a hospital and released.

in antioch. up 11 degrees for los gatos, the northerly winds are with news some locations and providing a little heat for us, we go with patchy dense fog overnight, mainly out towards the delta and east bay. mild day tomorrow. that is if you're not stuck in the fog. we'll continue to see some of that fog inland, and then do look for warmer days monday and tuesday. you can pretty much see where the fog just sat out towards the fairfield yeah, antioch, pittsburgh, concord. we had some nice clearing, overnight temperatures, in the 40s. 46 for the richmond area, 45 for antioch, and the fog will just continue to sit and spill over towards the werks toward vallejo, napa valley, san rafael. 49 expected for san francisco and 45 for morgan hill. here's the forecast overnight tonight. moves on towards the valley

area. tomorrow, looks like it may thin out sooner. this is the setup for at least the next four to five days. we have the jet stream well to the north of us, high pressure is going to push it to the north so any storms will stay north of the bay area so no rain in our accuweather forecast. the high pressure will be with us and that is definitely going to translate to warmish or warmer temperatures next week. 55 tomorrow. the sunshine for san jose. a touch of fog near the cost. look for mid-60s for half moon bay. 64 for redwood city. an francisco, 63. in the north bay, delightful day. san rafael may be a little cooler with the fog. 65 for oakland, fremont. interior east bay, keep temperatures in the mid-to-upper 50s, depending on how long that fog sitz -- sits around.
