tagger enclosure. >> alan: the sheriffs have recovered the body of a man matching the description of a suspect who kidnapped a four-year-old boy. the body was found at 8:30 this morning. based on a physical description and clothing, investigators believe it's that of jose rodriguez, the man accused of snatching juliani cardenas from his grandmother's arms next month. julianie's body was found february 1st in the samable. his -- the same canal. his mother reacted. >> i was relieved, and i was just thinking, you know, about jose's mom and hoping that she is okay and she is tough enough to deal with this. i know what it feels like to lose a friend. >> alan: about a thousand people

gathered at the football stadium to remember juliani. his mother says the daughter she'll give birth to in a few weeks will be named juliani. a private funeral service is set for next friday. police are searching for two suspects after high-speed chase and crash in oakland. we're at the scene. this involved an innocent driver? >> reporter: yes, it ditched this chase began at 84th and international at 3:20 this afternoon, and unlike the high-speed chase that oakland police were involved in three weeks ago, this one did not mend a fatility, even though the suspect was armed. this dpreeb chrysler is the car oakland police say led them on a chase through oakland. they were choicing the driver, lloyd anderson, when anderson crashed into this gray buick, sending it into an empty store.

inside the store the car caught fire. a neighbor rushed in to pull the driver to safety. >> very shaken. >> bledding? >> wasn't bleeding a lot about you could tell he cooperate walk and couldn't stand up. i took him to the hospital where he is now. >> reporter: the suspect car also burst into flames. police say anderson ran from the car after the crash, leaving his female passenger inside. an officer told us he pulled the woman from the car and watched her run off. after an hour, officers searched the area for anderson, who they say is armed, 5'7", 5'8", african-american, wearing a white t shirkts blue jeans and a cast on his right arm. the femalees heavyset, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans, the man removed from the car is at kaiser hospital and is not suffering any serious injuries. anyone with information regarding the crash or the suspects is asked to call

oakland police. reporting live, abc-7 news. >> alan: overseas, this was egypt's first full day without president hosni mubarak in nearly 30 years. the military leaders have made a commitment to hand over power to an elected civilian government and to abide by peace treaty with israel. here's more from cairo. >> reporter: when dawn broke over cairo, new era began in ant. the jubilation at the ouster and plenty of hard work ahead in a sign of growing confidence, the main opposition coalition said it would end its daily occupation of the square, calling for weekly demonstrations. the military that now rules here said today it would honor the country's peace treaty with israel and all other prior agreements and pledged to hand over power to an elected civilian government, ease the nighttime curfew, and banned international travel for current and former government officials.

>> alan: meanwhile, a lot of bay area egyptians and their supporters are celebrating the ouster of the egyptian president. amnesty international led a rally of 100 people today in the civic center plaza. the human rights group is calling for egyptian authorities to immediately lift the state of emergency and enact human rights reforms. the groups also held similar rallies in other cities, including one in new york at the egyptian mission to the unite nations and one outside the white house. consecutivetives -- conservatives are reenergized after their big meeting in washington, dc this weekend and the straw pole favorite for the 2012 republican nomination. a rare sighting off the coast where a pod of orcas entertained a group of site sightseers.

800 miles of track for high-speed trains between san francisco and san jose, fresno, and bakersfield, l.a. and orange county. the stimulus already provided $8 billion in funding for high-speed rail but republicans are trying to revoke 2.5 billion of that. san jose has posted information about the salaries and benefits of every play ployee in the city for the year 2010. the former police chief robert davis had the highest total compensation with more than $534,000 in salary and benefits. city manager made more than $276,000. parttime office specialist nicole braid made the least, paid joust -- just one dollar. the release of the information is an example of san jose's commitment to an open and transparent government. we posted the entire list on abc7.com. look under "see it on tv". >> a pod of oreck kaz put on a show for a boat load of

>> alan: they're been an whale sighting off the golden gate bridge. towerrizes -- tourists say 12 to 14 orcas surrounded the boat and some of them enstarted bumping their tails. there's a new mural going up in san francisco depicting the city's chinese-american leaders, including ed lee. artists with the academy of art university started painting the mural in honor of the lunar new year. and volunteers gardened and picked up litter. and mayorley sent out a tweet

and the rain beginning on monday, lingering through the work week. we had one record today, city of livermore, 74 degrees. you can see some of this ridge of high pressure collapsing a little bit as the westerly winds are moving in our direction. our temperatures tonight will keep it chilly, almost frosty in the north bay, napa, 32 degrees. moderate near the water, 41 for half moon bay, 45 for san francisco. interior livermore valley area, 34. this is the story. high pressure over the bay area the past three to five days. it is now going to be replaced by a sagging jet stream. it's going to sag over the bay area. a series of storm systems have lined up behind this. tomorrow will be kind of a transition day, with increasing clouds and some of these high clouds will pass over the bay area. temperatures will drop, and then

as we get into monday, that's when the first of the series of systems will start to effect the bay area. in fact, here's a look at the timing. your monday morning commute looks okay. it will be around noontime or so when the first bit of rain starts starts to move in. some could be heavy at times especially in the monday evening commute hour as the moderate rain moves in. once we get through this system, another one is stacked up behind it. heading to pebble beach tomorrow? 62 degrees. probably see a few more clouds, and a few more clouds in the entire bay area forecast. 56 for san jose. 61 for half moon bay. san francisco tomorrow,ow'll cool to 62. north bay, mid-to-upper 60 ssms santa rosa, 66. east bay, oakland, 65. fremont, 66. livermore tomorrow, 66. concord, 64. and we'll look for 66 degrees
