realization that the work hours of some of their air traffic controllers is screwed up. >> reporter: faa administrator immediate this comment today: he is suggesting that -- something that passengers take for granted, the controller schedules need to change, and anyway consider nap times during breaks, and is now a firing offense. on monday, the head of the faa and air traffic controllers onon are going to be touring every air traffic control center in the country, holding meetings on what they call a set call for higher standards. >> alan: empty friends and family remembered a young marine today who was killed in

afghanistan. lisa amin gulezian reports from gold golden gate national ceremony tear. >> hadn't corporation -- lance corporal harry lu was a friend and a brother to many. >> i consider harry one of our brothers. >> hundreds remember the graduate who died while on watch duty in afghanistan april 3rd. lu's death is still under investigation. >> at it really sad. to be here for this reason. report lu enlisted a year after graduating from high school. he was deployed in december and was supposed to return from afghanistan in july. >> at it my first time dealing with any kind of death, with someone i'm close with so at it really hard. i didn't know how to handle it. both her and i still feel like he's going to come home. >> we talked about how we were

going to go to vegas together, and i still think theatz happening. >> reporter: lu's friends and family see him everywhere and in everything. in these shirts and in this balloon launch in his honor. >> one. two. three. >> reporter: but the smiles quickly faded once the 21-year-old arrived at his final resting site, the national cemetery in san bruno. a long line of mourners, including a congressman and lu's aunt, watched in silent, because this meant goodbye. ♪ >> reporter: lu is the first santa clara high school graduate to die during a military operation in the middle east. lisa amin gulezian, abc-7 news. >> alan: police are investigating the discovery of a

body found floating in the water this morning now at it up to the san francisco medical examiner to determine the person's identity and cause of death. last week a 52-year-old man went missing after his boat capsized off ocean beach. police have not made a connection so far. a man was shot and killed while driving his car in east oakland around 2:00 a.m. police say he was driving a 2006 mercedes-benz at the time when he was shot. paramedics say they were unaware he had been shot until he was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. the killing is oak leak reside fourth this week. >> sever people are protesting outside the home of a north beach developer saying he is unfairly evicting him. the tenants say their landlord bought the apartment for the purpose of reselling it at a higher price, otherwise known as

flipping. he says he is selling the building because he cannot afford the monthly mortgage payments. all four tenants are in their 70s and say they have nowhere to go. >> i want to go to a senior play. they're all full. and it takes four years at least to get on a list. so, i have no place to go. >> alan: the tenants' eviction notices have expired and he is now taking them to court in order to force them to leave. the guest of honor at a town hall meeting in san francisco next wednesday will be president barack obama. he'll discuss his vision for narrowing the budget deficit at the meeting called "shared responsibility and shared prosperity." members of the administration and the private sector will take part in panels talk focused on women and technology and a job-growing program. youth watch parties are being organized around the country. anyone can shut questions -- can

submit questions to the president on the white house facebook page. the san francisco federal judge who ruled that proposition 8 is unconstitutional is take something heat from propel supporter. they say the judge showed a three-minute excerpt of the trial at a speaking engagement ten days before he retired from the bench. the group, protect marriage, which sponsors prop 8-is asking the ninth circuit court to force walker to turn over the tape, saying he violated his own order which prohibited a live broadcast of the court proceedings. prop # 8 is on appeal. >> after struggling to come up with new marijuana club regulation the san jose city council may ban the clubs altogether when it meets on tuesday. last week the council tentatively approved zoning laws, but then couldn't reach an agreement on revving --

we will continue with some passing clouds overnight, light rain will begin in the north bay first tomorrow evening, and then those showers will move over the entire bay area as we head into monday. and we're already starting to pick up some shoulders. you see them right there. this is actually where the storm system is. the first branch of it, irguess i should say. live doppler 7hd picking up some rain right now, crescent city, over to mount shasta, and much of the rain will stay well to the north. you can see the frontal band kind of stationary, which means it's sticking in the northern regions. by tomorrow ill it -- by tomorrow it will sag to the south, and increasing clouds and rain in the north bay late tomorrow night and then spread across the by bay area just in time for the monday morning commute time. 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, notice some clouds.
