>> alan: pain and anguish resurfacing more than 30 years after diswhroans town massacre. today family members dedicated a memorial to those who died, including the infamous church leader who led them to their deaths, jim jones. a pretty emotional afternoon today. >> reporter: it was. a long time coming for many of these people. most of those who dade are -- who died are from the bay area. they're at the only cemetery willing to take them. this is a reunion 32 years in

the maker, and what a long 32 years it has been. >> i lost my mother, my husband, my brother, my sister, my niece and nephew. >> reporter: she escaped with her life. 13 family members were not as lucky. 11 of. the are buried here in this east oakland cemetery, unnamed in a simple grave, until today when a plaque was revealed. >> we can actually see the names, put our hands on their names, as they're engraved in the stone. >> one name people didn't want to see at all, jim jones. a pastor who lost 27 family members in jonestown sued to block the memorial, but last week a superior court judge sided with the memorial supporters, including jim jones' son, saying the service should go on with jones' name etched in

between the cemetery and the pastor who said she had the right to build the memorial. >> alan: a search continued for a nursing student who disappeared friday. michelle le was last seen doing clinical round and left to take a break at 7:00 p.m. and never returned. investigators say she had her cell phone with her when vest put calls a to he -- to her has gone unanswered. she told friends she was planning to drive to reno to visit friends but the police found her car near the hospital. police are investigating what led to a deadly shooting last night in san jose. officers were called to the 4000 block of ambler way around 1:30 p.m. they found a woman dead inside a car with several gunshot wounds, less than half an hour later a

man was treated for gunshot wounds. police say he was shot near the area of amber way, but they're investigating both victims' involvement and whether the incident is gang related. this san jose's 22nd homicide of 2011, surpassing the total of 20 for all of last year. san jose police are also investigating a stabbing that left an 18-year-old man dead. it happened saturday morning on the east side of san jose. police are not releasing the victim's name and detectives still don't know the motive behind the stabbing. there are reports today that key scripsive information about the suspect in the beating of giants fan bryan stow was never entered a parolee computer database. the examiner reports that while there's a picture of the suspect in the system, details, like his teardrop tattoo and tattoos on

his neck, were never entered into the law enforcement automated data system. police arrested him last sunday for the attack on stow outside dodger stadium. >> police are looking for a second suspect and a woman who drove them from the scene. stow remains in the hospital in critical condition. the family's web site states that blood clots have formed in his legs and doctors are slowly weaning him off his seizure medication and expect him to be off the medication this week. president barack obama today toured the rubble of what was once the city of joplin, missouri. 40 people remain unaccounted for a week after massive toward hit there a week ago. more than 140 people died in the storm. the president paid tribute to the dead, and pledged support for the survivors. we have this report from joplin.

cruz. the winds have died down nicely this afternoon. they were brisk overnight. and even in the lake tahoe area -- this is a live shot from the heavenly cam. most of those snow clouds are moving out. they even enjoyed a little more sunshine today. here's a look at wind speeds, overnight they were howling across the bay area. started to die down this afternoon, but still get something pretty good gusts out of west. the indian -- nap nap pa -- napa valley, windy right now. the winds will continue to die down this evening. temperaturewise, it was terrific. a much better day today than yesterday. napa, 70 degrees. 72 in santa rosa. concord, 7 2. 69, livermore. 68 in san jose. san francisco, 62 degrees.

so, overnight tonight, we'll call it clear, all though we'll see a few passing clouds here and there. the clouds will increase tomorrow afternoon. temperatures will come down slightly, and then we'll bring in a chance of more showers tuesday and wednesday. this is how we were today. you can see the clearing that took place overnight. those showers starting to move out of the sierra, and here's a look at the clouds that will pass by the bay you're overnight tonight. we'll keep them in our forecast. temperatures tonight, few degrees warmer than last night. anticipation of those clouds moving in. 50 for san francisco. 44 half moon bay, and antioch, you get down to 52 degrees. here's the setup for the next couple of days. today we had the storm systems towards the east. this is the clearing we were in today. these are some clouds that will venture in tonight but it's going to be the area of low pressure that's going to push toward the south.
