signing the bill that extends full marriage rights to gay couples. the ashe -- -- archbishop is not happy with the new law. >> i have to say i'm just sad because i think it's not good for the common good and that's what we have been arguing for so long. >> alan: in addition to marriage rights, the law gives same-sex couples employer health benefits, inheritance, and a host of state tax benefits. a second patient has died after a car crashed interest a san jose nursing home. a 100-year-old woman died from her injuries today. the crash also killed an 88-year-old woman. both women were residents at the home. five other patients were hurt. police believe a 90-year-old driver hit the accelerator instead of the brake before crashing into the nursing home.

a nevada trucking company is under scrutiny tonight for friday night's fiery crash with an amtrak train. six people are dead and 28 unaccounted for. lillian kim joins us from the newsroom with more. >> reporter: the name of the trucking company is john davis trucking of battle mountain, nevada. it has been cited repeatedly for crashes crashes and unsafe driving. a driver of a tractor-trailer smashed through crossing gates and into two double decker amtrak cars, killing the driver and five people onboard. investigators will be looking at a number of possibilities that may have played a role, including fatigue, driver in attention. the company has been cited for having tires so bald it had to be taken off the road.

at least 20 people were injured, including the assistant conductor, who had to have surgery. >> i just know his right arm was really bad and he almost lost a finger, and they had to put it back on and his right arm was messed up. you don't go through an impact like that without your whole body feeling it. >> the train conductor was among the people who died. she is from concord and began with the railroad 23 years ago in martinez. on tuesday, investigators will be visiting the trucking company to look through their records and the records of the driver in the newsroom, abc-7 news. >> alan: a seven-year-old san francisco boy suffered some serious injuries while tubing on lake sonoma. this happened yesterday while his inner tube was being towed by a boat. the sheriff's department says the tow rope got tangled and the boy was pulled into the

propeller. he suffered severe cuts to both legs and was pleading bad -- bleeding badly. it's unknown exactly what condition that boy is in. two teenagers are facing charges tonight in connection with a gun battle on market street that injured five people. investigators say four of the victim were innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire. all are expected to survive. the shooting happened just after 6:00 can he yesterday evening at market and jones street. police say the shooting is gang-related and had no connection to the pride celebrations nearby. police arrested 18-year-old and 16-year-old suspects on suspicion of several felonies, including assault with a deadly weapon. the mother of a young map arrested for refusing to pull up his panses onboard a u.s. airways flight spoke at jones methodist church. she talk about the incident when her son was arrested after he

66 in oakland. san francisco 60. 58 in half moon bay. the north bay, santa rosa, 75. numbers definitely came up, and livermore, up nine degrees. so was concord today. up four in antioch. up seven today in fairfield, as well as napa. here's a look at some of the highlights for the next couple of days. clear overnight, a little patchy coastal cloudiness overnight. sunny and mild once again for your monday. and then thickening clouds monday night, leading to a pretty good chance of seeing showers, especially in the north bay, as we head interest -- head into tuesday afternoon, possibly wednesday morning. we started this morning if high pressure building in, thinning out the low clouds and fog the coast so they saw some sunshine today. the lows tonight, a little fog redeveloping, move a little in

towards the bay, but generally in the 50s, overnight low, 58 degrees. today it was high pressure building in. it will be with us for one more day. so, count on some sunshine, mild temperatures. late in the day tomorrow, we'll see increasing high clouds in advance of this cold front. very strong for this time of year. you might recall, we started the month of june with showers in the forecast, and looks like we're going to end the month with showers as welch let's look at the timing on this. advance this to 11:00 tomorrow, and you can see mostly sunny conditions. tomorrow night, this is 11:00, the clouds thickening up, maybe a little moisture gathering near the coast, but check it out. 9:00 a.m. tuesday morning, that, my friends, is a pretty strong cold front, and the rain will start to move in, the north bay first, and then by 5:00 tuesday evening commute time, we may see some wet pavement across the bay
