>> reporter: another neighbor heard something. >> we heard the shots, bam, bam, bam, and i just opened my door, and i didn't see anything. >> reporter: this is a double shooting that happened early this morning before most neighbors were outside to see anything. at least one home here has a video surveillance cam-over on -- camera on its roof and the individual quo has been acquired by the police. this is clearly a shock to people in the neighborhood. >> this is a very nice area. never happened before anything like that. we don't know what is happening. >> reporter: do you know the people that live in that house. >> we do not. we just see them very randomly. >> reporter: a lot of the neighbors we talked to say they actually have nod had many interactions with the people who live at this house. we have learned who they are but are waiting for confirmation for police before we're able to release details. we're still trying to determine exactly how this happened. as i mentioned earlier, there's

not yet a motive from police. when they arrived they tried to catch a perpetrator in the shooting. so there's still a whole lot of details police are trying to piece together themselves. abc-7 news. >> alan: in alameda county, investigators are still trying to identify skeletal remains discovered yesterday. the remains were found in the niles canyon area during a search for missing nursing stunt michelle le, and today officials wrapped up their investigation at the sight. lillian kim is live tonight near the scene. >> reporter: investigators came back to the site to make sure they didn't miss anything. the body was discovered down this road amid some brush, near a creek, and not too far from some railroad tracks. investigators did find a few items today. whether they're relevant to the case, it's too soon to tell. a search party looking for michelle le discovered the remains yesterday. authorities don't know if the

remains are that of le. a pathologist will determine the gender tomorrow. on of that -- soon after that the'll try to identify the remains. >> nothing with the body that says it's one person or another. no jewelry found, not a tattoo to find. we have dental remains we can compare with. so, it -- if we have to go to dna, it takes longer, if you have identifying marks, it goes quicker. >> michelle le was last seen may 27th on a break during her rotation at kaiser hospital in hayward. heyward police have arrested her friend over apparently a lover's triangle. le's body has long believed to before the this area from cell

phone records. >> alan: an elderly copies dead after a fire race through they're vallejo home. firefighters arrived at the home this morning with smoke pouring out the front windows. firefighters broke through the security doctor and then the regular door to gain entry, then had to battle heavy smoke. >> smoke out of the front of the house. go to the back of the house, really warm with no visibility at all. >> alan: the couple'site diz have not been released and the cause of the fire is under investigation. >> armed, dangerous, desperate and at large, that's how police describe a suspect in a violent san jose crime screen paul castillo is 5'9", 210-pounds and accused of armed robbery and murder. the suspect shot a man pumping gas after demanding money. a mile away from the station in the plant shopping center, police say he carjacked

60-year-old cindy nguyen. police searched a nearby apartment complex after a man resellling castillo was spotted in that area. nguyen's body was found yesterday morning in a home castillo have been living in for a month. >> police scheduled a community meeting after two miami were shot. the police tried to arrest a suspected drug dealer but he ran away and pulled out a gun. an officer fired once at the suspect and wounded two people nearby. they're expected to survive. officers did, however, arrest a 20-year-old jesus rodriguez of san pablo. the community meeting will be held at jean parker elementary school on 840 broadway at 6:30 tomorrow night. federal investigators have some -- have found something tonight that could explain the cause of friday's air show disaster in reno. a world war ii fighter plane suddenly plunged to the ground

during an air race, killing nine people, including the pilot. it's believed video of the flight may exist. >> the investigators have found that the accident aircraft was equipped with a video camera. facing outward. they have also found camera fragments at the wreckage site. and among the wreckage site they have found multiple memory cards that could have come from the camera. >> alan: 9 people were treated at the hospital. nine remain in critical condition. jimmy lee leeward is the 20th 20th pilot to die at the renoç air crash but friday's crash was the first in which spectators were killed. >> a new book reveals the unsavory side of the white house. the author's claim about the obama administration. >> the test results are in for more than 200 families living without water in redwood city, and a chiang change of scenery

magnitude of 6.9 sent residents rushing out of the home. >> it looks like two uc berkeley graduates will remain in a day iran jail at least a couple more days. their lawyer still needs a second judge to sign a bail arrangement. he says that judge is on vacation until tuesday. shaken beauer and josh fatel were convicted of spying and sentenced to eight years in prison. >> in washington, republican leaders are voicing their opposition to president obama's deficit reduction plan which he scheduled to unveiled tomorrow. the president calls the measure the buffet rule, named for billion area warren buffet, who favors higher taxes for the wealthy. the proposal includes setting a minimum tax rate for those merge more than a million doors. it's expected to call for two trillion dollars in deficit reduction measures and will likely not include all the compromises the president

almost getting the hot side, specially in the interior east bay location, but a beautiful shot for you. we're going pan out a little bit. this is from the east bay hills. the high definition walnut creek camera, and that's san francisco in the background. what you don't see is all the fog. much of it is well off the coast, and that's why our coastal communities had plenty of sunshine today and actually started to warm up. here's a look at highs for today. there's the 88 that tied the record at oakland airport. 91 was the high the novato. 92 in santa rows -- rosa. 93 the high in livermore, 88 redwood city and san jose, and 91 in morgan hill today. here's a look at the current readings. obviously with the sun coming down, temperatures coming down as well. still quite warm out towards the east bay. 91 in concord.

92 in antioch. 70 in san francisco. 88 in novato. napa, 894. and mountain view, 81. we're going to continue the clear sky tonight. tomorrow is a "spare the air" day. keep that in mind you. may want to try some car-pooling. definitely tomorrow morning. warm to hot weather pattern will stay with us right in through the middle part of the work week. we have the north to northeast winds, very slight, slight offshore wind component, and you can see low clouds and fog just pushing well off the coast, staying there, we may see a little bit of fog redevelop here and there. here's a look at the fog forecast. much of it will stay off the coast for at least tonight and tomorrow night, which means those offshore winds will be with us again tomorrow, and that means warmer temperatures as well. overnight tonight, mid-to-upper 50s. 62 is the flow santa county, temperatures there in the 90s.

high pressure pushing the jet dream to the north. circulation around the high is clockwise so it's starting to get into some of those very slight offshore wind component, and anytime we get that temperatures heat up, especially at the coast. this very warm pattern will stay with us through the next couple of days. by the end of the week we'll cool down. 92 for campbell tomorrow. temperatures in the 70s at the beaches. half moon bay, 72. near 90 for palo alto and redwood city, 80 san francisco. north bay, temperatures, especially ukiah and cloverdale in the mid-90s. 86 for oakland. 89 for union city. interior east bay, slow down, temperatures hot. 59 for -- 95 for concord.
