16-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man. keel says one of his daughter's friend got into an altercation at or after the party and that's led -- that what led to the shooting. >> two guys came over to my car and shot the car and the occupants. >> police say other people were injured. the party straighted 150 to 400 young people from around the bay area. >> a trend where promoters advertise on the internet or other social medias for random locations and parties. >> reporter: we found internet posts from people who say they were at this party. talked to a beautiful girl to the party, and she walked to her car, and you see her get shot and killed. >> and this woman rights, they say it's always the good kits at the prong place at the wrong time. roger keel wants anyone who was at the party to help him get a little justice and closure for his daughter.

>> i'm just appealing to everyone that was there if you saw anything, please call the san lan -- san leandro police and help us solve this crime. that's my only child. >> a san leandro police tell us they did interview quite a few people at this party last night. but they're still trying to hammer down some key details, especially what led up to this shooting and who were the trigger people or trigger person, and they're also trying to figure out exactly who organized this party. they're hoping anyone who has any information will call the san leandro police anonmiss tip line, 510-577-3278. abc-7 news. >> alan: we have an update on a fatal shooting in san francisco. the medical examiner has identified the man killed last night in the city's bay view district. nick franken was shot several times on thomas avenue after he

entered a liquor score. he later died at the hospital. the incident is under investigation. >> we now have a mug shot of the man accused of killing the leader of the san jose hells angels, ernesto gonzalez was arrested on the university of california san francisco campus. he is in jail pending extradition to nevada. police say gonzalez is the man who shot and killed jeffrey pettigrew nine days ago in a sparks, nevada, casino. pettigrew was the president of the san jose chapter of the hell's angles. >> novato police arrested the man they believe molested three girls between the ages of seven and nine. one of the victims' mothers called police yesterday complaining her daughter had been touched inappropriately by their neighbor. detectives found two other victims before arresting 32-year-old man.

>> san francisco firefighters made quick work of a house fire tonight. one of our tower cameras captured firefighters reaching the roof of the building. it took 15 minutes to get the flames contained. no injuries have been reported and no record on the cause of the fire. >> during his address to gay and lesbian activists last night, president obama focused on his commitment to equality and repeal of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy. today other politicians weighed in on the policy and the president's remarks. >> president obama addressed saturday night's human rights campaign dinner by focusing on his commitment to the equality and the recent repeal of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy. >> we believe in a big america, a tolerant america, just america, an equal america, that values the service of every

patriot. >> also brought up in the address was last month's republican presidential debate, where candidates stayed mum while the audience intoed a gay soldier. >> you want to be commander-in-chief? you can start by standing up for the men and women who wear the uniform of the united states, even when it's not politically convenient. >> while former u.s. vice-president cheney agreeld with the president's repeal of the policy, he questioned obama's debate dig. >> i think the decision has been made with respect to allowing gays to serve openly in the military is a good one. it's the right thing to do. i'm a little bit leery of the notion that we aught ought to hammer the republican candidate bass they didn't respond to intoing from the audience. >> john mccain agreed with mr. obama's position. >> the fact is we should honor every man and woman who is serving in the military and should in no way treat them with anything but the highest regard.

approved a tax increase to finances train service but the private joe ject is still short on funding, a novato based group is now trying to gather 40,000 signature biz the end of january to get the measure on the ballot next year. tonight san francisco's street crews finished repairing a collapsed sewer main in the richmond district. that 100 year old sewer main failed this morning, opening up a two-foot sink hole. even given the emergency nature of the repairs, one person says the area gets the short end of the stick when it comes to streets getting fixed. >> it's interesting. as you get further north, it becomes sort of more higher rent, and those streets get fixed but these streets don't get fixed. go over there, all new pavement, nice speed bumps, slow the traffic down. over here they don't do that. >> alan: we are told that a

[shouting] >> alan: protests continue today against corporate greed on wall street. and organizers say they have no intention of stopping. new york police released this video after arresting 700 protesters yesterday during a march on the brook brooklyn bridge. some say they were lured on the roadway but officers said no one was tricked. the occupy wall street demonstration started out with less than a dozen college students and is now answering --

stronger system, moves in late tuesday night and throughout the day on wednesday. here's a look at the first system. here's number one, number two is here. the first one already turning in and bring something moisture along the north coast. the live doppler 7 hd picking up some rain. starting to advance to eureka, and you can see some of the moderate rain, some of the dark greens and the yellows being indicated just off the coast. all of this is going to slowly progress towards the south, and we'll look from increasing rain from the first system throughout the day on monday, get into a little bit of a break on tuesday before the stronger system moves in, wind with this storm system. stronger system, tuesday night. overnight, in through wednesday morning. by wednesday afternoon we should start to dry out a little bit. i'm going to show you your timing. 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, santa rosa, the rain moving in there. and then by noontime, san

rafael, san francisco, half moon bay, look for showers to advance, and then by 5:00 commute time tomorrow, san jose, santa cruz, monterey county, will start to see some rain move in. overnight, monday night, in through tuesday morning, this kind of falls apart and moves out so by lunchtime on tuesday we should start to get into a little break before the stronger system moves in tuesday night and wednesday. for monday, though, up to an inch expected in north bay mountains. elsewhere, lesser amounts, maybe a trace amount in the south bay as this system winds down as it pushes south by tomorrow, late afternoon, anticipating the stronger system on tuesday, winter storm watch up for the sierra. up to ten inches of snow above the 7,000-foot level so keep that in mine if your destination takes you in that direction. up to two inches expected near lake level go ahead and take the
