the property. >> it's something the city has failed to act on. there are hundreds of blighted buildings in the neighborhood. >> arson investigators spend the day collecting clues from the backyard. from the alley you can see it's crammed with stuff, including a trailer rv that looks like it was recently uses. fire crews are not saying where the fire start or how it was sparked. >> my understanding, not. things take time. investigators will be out here all day working on it. >> reporter: when we arrived on scene last night, we were told neighbors may have seen someone running from the house as the fire started, and this afternoon police officers were in the neighborhood, asking neighbors if they may have seen anything and could share the details with them. but so fashion fire investigators and police investigators have not commented on that part of their investigation. reporting live in the bayview, abc-7 news.

this morning. it happened just after 3:00 a.m. on 88th avenue. officers saw several cars speeding away from the scene and they discovered the man on the ground. he had been shot in the head. was pronounced dead at the scene. >> the city of millbrae is being patrolled by the san mateo county sheriff's department. the sheriff took over one minute after midnight this morning to transfer is designed to save the so i money while providing the same level of service. millbrae's 14 police officers will be partnered with sheriff's deputies and will save mel bray $1.5 million. >> jury selection begins in the trial of sheriff mark mark mark hurricane rim my. he is accused of physically abusing his wife during an argument on new year's. a neighbor videotaped bruises on

we're going to be seeing subtle changes tonight, with a few passing clouds overhead. maybe a little bit of fog near the coast. and then a much cooler day. the wind picks up to more onshore, which is a cool wind direction for us, for monday and tuesday, and there is a system to the north that can possibly bring us a few showers overnight and monday night. this is the closeup satellite. we're clear but check out the last few frames. you'll notice a little bit of fog starting to venture back. that's because the winds are starting to shift. this weekend they were offshore, and brought us the hit. they're starting to shift to onshore, which is a cooler wind direction so definitely things will be changing for us. 43 the expected low in san rafael. 40 livermore, 43 for san jose. high pressure responsible for such delightful weekend. start took weaken, and we'll watch the tail end of this cold front. this is going slide south, and it might be able to wring out a

few light showers over the bay area. in fact here's a look at the timing beginning at 11:00 tonight. we're clear, but you'll notice some of the fog may venture close by. right near the coast, that is. overnight tonight, increasing clouds throughout the day. on monday. 10:00 tomorrow night, possibly start to see rain bands move into the north bay. 1:00, 2:00 a.m. tuesday morning, shot of showers moving across the bay area. maybe just a few sprinkles. very light. by 5:00 a.m. tuesday morning, just in time for the commute, it's out of here, and then we'll start to clear up. we have to deal with very gusty winds by tuesday afternoon. here's a look at the highs. we'll come down as much as ten degrees. we'll look for mid-to-upper 60s. interior east bay, 67 for watsonville, and monterey tomorrow, 63. here's a look at the seven-day forecast. much cooler for your monday. breezy as well. chance of showers overnight.
