and good monday morning, everyone. we start with the aftermath of the destructive storms. alabama was one of the hard-hit states. the governor met yesterday with residents, cleaning up damage. >> on top of that, winter is making a reappearance in some areas of the staple tornado zone. abc's tahman bradley has the latest details. >> reporter: from the air, the destruction shows the cleanup is going to last for a long time, in tennessee, the town is picking up after a twister, 300 yards wide, traveling at 120 miles an hour left destruction. >> we're just cleaning up now. >> reporter: overnight, a winter storm system moved into henryvil henryville, indiana. tornado ravaged members have to deal with snow.

serious injuries. the doctors gave the kids a special nickname. >> they looked at him and couldn't believe it. they called him a the miracle baby. >> reporter: in kentucky, woman prayed that a twister would go away. >> take this away from my home! >> reporter: she lived, so many miracles, amid enormous destruction. >> those are storms we usually see in the summer or spring. >> 440 tornado warnings. >> unbelievable in one day. time for weather across the nation on this monday morning. that snow now hits parts of the tornado zone, stretching from indiana, all the way to north carolina, with accumulations of one to three inches, flurries, up to two feet of snow. >> 16 in billings to albuquerque. 83 in phoenix. 60 in omaha. 35 in the twin cities. 70 from dallas and 56 in

atlanta, here in new york, 43 degrees. in other news, president obama is welcoming israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu to the white house this morning this morning with the nuclear ambitions high on the agenda. the meeting comes on the heels of president's powerful speech. while israel is threatening a preemptive strike against iran, the president is asking for time to allow sanctions to work. but he also made it clear that the u.s. will take no option off the table when it comes to iran. >> iran's leaders should understand i do not have a policy of containment. i have a policy of preventing iran from producing nuclear weapons. i will not have to take hesitat huromney is pretty qui >> mitt romney is pretty quick to respond to the president. he said mr. obama's approach has

failed and mr. romney predicts that iran will have a nuclear weapon if the president is re-elected. romney and the other republican candidates are spending their last full day campaigning ahead of super tuesday. 437 delegates in ten states are at stake. rick santorum says the nomination battle could go all the way to the convention because in his words, romney has failed to close the deal with voters. well, even an apology isn't stopping the advertising exodus from rush limbaugh's radio show. a seventh company now says it will suspend its ads. limbaugh called a woman a prostitute. the host apologized saying he used the wrong choice of words. overseas, at least 27 police

food delivery man michael longo just learned about it. >> it's a terrible situation. >> reporter: the question is, the wall street banks push the prices at the pump higher while they cash in on that as they make up future prices of gas. well, now the st. louis federal reserve weighs in with a newly updated report. it says two main factors drive gas prices up. first, global demand shocks, like tensions from the middle east. but next the fed concludes speculation played a significant role in the oil price increase between 2004 and 2008 and its subsequent collapse. >> all over this country, people are really being hurt financially. >> reporter: senator bernie sanders of vermont is fighting back. >> this is money coming right out of their paycheck. >> reporter: today, sanders will send out a letter to the comphomties future trading commission calling for immediate action. sanders says so far he has
