>> there is a a collection of all of the evidence, bullets and ballistics they have to do with shooter's gun and ammunition. >> the shooter's gun has yet to be recovered. police were searching near these water autos he's angry with the college. he was a student there. that, we do know. he went back yesterday to are with intentions of finding one administrator. >> but that administrator was not there. police say the suspect took a student hostage, entered a classroom and asked everyone to line up against the wall. before they can do that, police gaingen say he started shooting students. this afternoon, students from a pool of urban mission bible college walked up and down the street in front of the school to show support.

and certainly there will be more vigils still to come and people started putting flowers outside of the building. the suspect will be arraigned tomorrow in court at 2:00 p.m. >> and there is a critical piece of evidence police need to complete the case, his gun. the weapon thought to be a 45 caliber handgun has not yet been found, among places being searched water among the martin luther king junior regional shore line. >> this is a shore line center portion where they think the gun is. there police won't say why, but they've got equipment looking for it. searchers played out the court on a scanner. it skims and scans the bottom.

brought in sonar of their own. san francisco police have brought a boat with sonar but so far, that boat has stayed at docks. and before 4:00, the boats couldn't navigate anymore. you can see water behind me. it's just in the middle of the channel now. they're thinking about bringing people in with waiter asks calling on other resources and still maintaining this is a crime scene but they're looking for a way to proceed with water as low as it is, this may just be a waiting game. >> thank you. just in the last hour there is new information about the shooting victims and there is lidia sim, 21 years old, kathleen ping, 24 and police

say the suspect car jacked and shot dhutia and used his car to get way from the scene. >> a mother of one victim wanted to talk to us about her daughter, kathleen ping may have been one of the first to be killed. of course, her family is devastated. words can never describe what she must be feeling. >> this is a horrible anguish. they told me she was probably the first person anyone would see when walking into the college. she might have been the first to lose her life. >> she's l the one who decides for me, she's very smart. >> for mary, her 24-year-old was the glue that held family

together. her job as a secretary paid most wills to care for her 4-year-old son, kaiser two, sisters, brother and parents. kathleen was married but her husband still lives in the philippines and hoping to imgreat. her brother shared pictures and memories of his sister. >> she bullied me, when we're younger, then i got older i bullied her, she's my best friend. she's everything to us. >> police say the spree began around 10:30 in the morning. around 10:54 the ping family received a voice message from kathleen. her brother had saved it on his kpurter. the mufled sounds of a final goodbye. >> she's a sister. she's a friend.

job he said he wanted to take the next exam for supervisor. he's finish here and then drive to oakland. in the school parking lot he was car jacked and killed. he lived in this north beach hotel. the manager said he always paid on tichl he gave him a pair of pants that didn't fit. tonight friends remember. >> whenever i go by the indian restaurant i think bhimt. when we have thanksgiving i think about him. now, i'll always think about him. >> there is on the way to becoming a licensed vocational nurse. his dream was to go back home to help sick people get well. >> what a loss, they all are. they so much. abc 7 news obtained copies of the police dispatch tapes offering a glimpse into the chaos and confusion dispatchers had to deal with

beginning when the first call came n the caller reports shots fired and refered to a person as reporting party or rp. listen. >> he people are running out screaming. >> there is a blood trail. >> looks like just one caller saying shots from inside of a building. >> after requesting ambulances arriving officers were able to report a description of the suspect. >> the shooter is going to be a male korean, 40 years old, five, five, heavy build. blue jacket and baseball cap. >> they worked fast and efficiently. it took police just three minutes to get on to the scene and there three hours before calling all clear.
