someone, i suspect he knew that we're on our way. and he just left. >> police chief jordan says goh confessed to furder -- murders and he's cooperating and he doesn't appear to be remorseful. police say he was angry at a school administrator and had a grudge against classmates for teasing him about his broken english and awkward behavior, goh had a history of financial problems when living in virginia and he was deeply in debt but has no criminal records. we learn that had goh's last job before enrolling at oikos university was here in this korean supermarket in daily city where he worked with his father, store management zee kleined to comment. goh worked in a wholesale distributor a source tells us he was fired because the owner said he was not the right person for the job. and the zriblgt attorney said at that news conference after the court hearing is that

authorities believe one goh act add lone, he'll be back in court april 30th to enter a plea. >> vic, thank you. the apparent target confirms tonight that goh tried to get a refund after dropping out of oikos university. ellen serbian and a teacher at cal state east bay confirmed goh was angry when she told him he cannot get a full refund. she told the associated -- associated press he was never forced out and was never asked to least program. she is vaugt and would not appear on camera but her roommate told us only one thing is on her mind. >> all she can focus is those kids. her secretary was like her daughter. you know? and she just trying to with supportive of everybody else.

spotlight on the school most of us were unfamiliar with but oikos university has been on the radar of regulators sometime because so many of the students who graduate from the program can't pass the licensing exam. >> the issue for the schools is are the students qualified to take that exam? >> the state wide average for students is 75%. 65% is considered acceptable. in 2010, just 58% of the oikos understanding grads passed. last year, just 41%. the spokesperson for department of consumer affairs, the state regulators. >> they're accreditation will be likely made pro visional and given time to bring up the pass rate fchl they don't, then it will be withdrawn. >> he says the state will work with the university as it analyzes the problem, and develops a corrective plan but

pg&e says it cannot give estimates on when it will be able to restore power. a shock wave rippled through silicon valley today when yahoo announced 2000 layoffs, the company is struggling. david? >> yahoo remains a strong brand and a popular source for news, finance and sports but has been losing eye balls owe or web site user that's means a related drop off in revenue. 2000 of the employees are gone. the timing of the layoffs is puzzling because yahoo's new ceo won't give out details about the future until it reports quarterly earnings. analysts aren't sure if there is a pran or if he's preparing to sell yahoo. >> if you're going to do it properly you do it deep and fast this, looks shallow and long. by the way, if you're doing layoffs for sale, you want to

this announcement was not unexpected but here at home we're finding supporters down playing it. the announcement of the french team's withdrawal from the america's cup drew this from the event authority spokesman. >> we're sad to not have them compete but it doesn't impact the america's cup in 2013. >> this from the san francisco travel association. >> we're disappointed the french team is not participating but the bottom line is the final race autos i think we're still excited about teams, there are still teams yet to be announced. >> the mayor is anticipating more teams will join but if more join, that means six teams instead of the 10-12 forecast by the bay area economic institute. whit wrote this report saying that the primary driver of the benefits would be the teams themselves. >> between infrom a structure and spending by the time it's a good amount of the revenue.

today marks the 44th anniversary of the assassination of dr. martin luther king junior. the group stood on the steps of city hall to pray and denounce the violence that affects the african american community saying black young people are marginalized and point to last month's deadly shooting of trayvon martin in florida as an example dr. king's dream has not yet been met. >> because there is a youth in florida who was murdered and his killer still walks the streets that. is not equality that. is not justice. >> the group then saw a

different justice after the prayer rally marching to wells fargo bank to protest foreclosures in the community. >> members of congress will have to follow the same insider trading rules as the rest of us. the stock act makes it clear any federal laumt or staff member using nonpublic information to get an unfair advantage is breaking the law. period. in signing this bill the president said banning the trading by lawmakers will assure everyone plays by the same rules. >> if we expect that to apply to our biggest corporations and to our most-successful citizens it should apply to our elected officials. especially when there is a deficit of trust between this city and the rest of the country. >> the act creates new requirements, bans special access to initial offerings and requires members of congress and others to disclose the terms of their personal mortgages.

21-year-old lidia sim. i also talked with a fiancee of another victim who lived in san jose. the sanctuary at hayward korean baptist church filling with flowers and soon, mourners will gather to honor 21-year-old lidia sim. one is her dream of becoming a pediatrician. >> she's great with kids. lfed kids growing up. if she was the youngest she'd take care of the babies and stuff. and she did a great job taking care of me. >> tim brown is speaking out about his loss. his fiancee, 53-year-old judith seymor. the family request we not show pictures of judy but did want people to know of her faith and extraordinary dedication to her two grown children, camilla and brian. >> she did everything for them. every decision made in life, every course she took.

the first consideration and number one priority was her children. >> tim says he worried when he heard about the shooting monday because he knew judy was in class and says she had nursing experience and was just two months from graduating. and entering a profession she loved. >> she took time and patience to take care of each person individually. and so that she had a lot of good stories of telling me about how patient just loved her and looked forward to seeing her. >> family as cross the bay area grieve, tim says his focus son his loss, not the man responsible. >> right now, myself, i'm going to so much personal grief for camilla, brian and myself. i don't have time and energy to focus on that individual. >> and for now, judy seymor's adult children as well as lidia sim's parents say

they're too raw with emotion to talk with the media. they did express through other family members their appreciation for the community's support. >> and here is what we know about the victims. one born in india, working nights as a janitor ask the only man killed in the rampage. and another 40-year-old was married with three children and hoped to practice medical law. kathleen ping receptionist and she works there for seven months to help support her parents and 4-year-old son. she mentioned the 21-year-old from hayward. a baby-sitter at hayward baptist church. and grace kim, 23 graduated from foot hill high school.

>> they learned that their business name had not been renewed and they sent the money to this company. >> magnus did contact 7 on your side and we found the renewal center has an "f" rating with the bbb and more than a dozen complaints posted online. he says a lot of people want help to make sure renewal is done right. and 99% ever r not pooled. people said the company will give refunds to anyone who paid but did not get a renewal. the company's solicitation does include a disclaimer in small print saying this service is not been approved or endorse bid any government agency.
