one involved a muni train. the other accident injured at least four people, one block away, at brandon street where lillian kim is live on the scene with the details. >> reporter: we're along the southbound lanes on the embarcadero, and this was a veer serious accident. this car was hit by an suv which police say was likely going too fast. that suv end up on the sidewalk, and we've been told five people were transported to the hospital. it's unclear how serious the injuries are. the other collision happened minutes before and just a few blocks away on the embark care expo harrison street. police say the driver of a red jaguar was trying to make an illegal left turn or u turn when his car was broadside by a muni street car. three people in the jaguar were taken to the hospital and their injuries are not expect ted be life threatening and -- no one on the street was war diswhrimpletd street car has

been taken out of service. that is standard procedure so workers can assess possible damage. so two collisions on the embarcadero that happened within minutes of each other. the police have blocked off the southbound lanes and drivers are being forced to take alternate routes. >> alan: easter services today also included a time to pay respects to the victims of the mass shooting at oikos university in oakland. sir overquintana is live at the university tonight. >> reporter: for the last six days, oikos university has been the epicenter of a whole lot of tragedy and pain. this massacre reached into several communities in the east bay and because nearly everyone involved is an immigrant, it reaches into communities around the world, so on this holliday, -- holy day pastors are hoping to start the healing. according to the tibetton

association it was a funeral for one of the people gunned down one one geo opened fire in a classroom at oikos university. throughout the week a series of memorials have been conducted by several denominations and faiths honoring the seven victims. people who came from around the world to live in the bay area. >> it was an international community, so i was a worldwide thing and it was being telecast all over the world. >> each year shilo christian fellowship in oakland stages a special easter sunday production, and on this day included in the tale was a reflex on this week's tragedy. >> people final their commonality and their common humanity ask they begin to know they true i are their brother's keeper and that people do care. >> reporter: in san leandro, different denomination but a similar message. >> the sense of feeling the pain that christians would feel, this time they felt more profoundly at cowboy coast this past

less than an hour, within three miles of each other. the police are now examining inningland's facebook account. they say the 19-year-old posted a message using a racial slur investigating anger of the killing of his father two years ago. >> being an naacp president for seven years i think that somebody that committed these crimes were very upset with black people. >> alan: england and watts are scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow and face three counts of first degree murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill. gas prices are dropping. nationwide gas prices have fallen one cent from yesterday and nearly five cents from a week ago. but today drivers filling up their cars said prices are still too high and they're making changes. >> other i do quite a bit more walking and i was in the habit of getting in the car before. >> you adjust. we don't have bread for two bucks, we don't have notes for a

dime. people don't work for a dollar an hour. it's all relative. >> alan: the average price for a gallon of gas statewide is 4.26. in the bay area, it's 4.35. and the cheapest gas in the state is in chico where it's selling for 4.15 a gallon. a spokesperson for oakland's airport says it's disappointed to be losing united airlines. united will shut down on june 4th at oakland interthan. it's been at the airport for 75 years but says the 11 flights a week to denver are no longer profitable. the 49 united employees are being offered jobs at other airports. united will continue to operate flights out of sfo and san jose. just ahead, easter sunday celebrations and a race like no other. why big wheels were tearing through the san francisco neighborhood today. and it was a beautiful sunday out there but more rain is on the way. frances dinglasan is up next with the forecast.

northern coast of southern california and it's going to very slowly slide south. right now, temperatures are in the 50s and 60s. look for 54 in san francisco. 61 in san jose, and 60 degrees in concord. so, basically, we'll have increasing clouds. you'll start to see them in the north bay particularly, and then a wet weekday ahead of us. the work week. in fact looks wet almost every day. rain will start in the north bay, and then the front will slowly move through the bay year tuesday, and then periods of rain wednesday through friday. so definitely need your umbrellas this week and we can use the rain. here's a look at the pacific satellite radar. this slow-moving front will brung showers in the north bay, and then on tuesday we see the heavier rain, fourth to three-quarters of an inch of rain in most areas and over an inch in the coastal hills.

so the light green is showing the rain. still not really getting to the bay area monday morning. just a cloudy start for the morning commute. and then for your ride home we'll start to see some light rain moving into parts of the north bay and sonoma and anyone dough seen know county and santa rosa, and then it just kind of stays there and then slowly moves in overnight into tuesday. so we could have periods of heavy rain tuesday itself. so keep that in mind. lows tonight pretty cool once again but not quite as cool as yesterday's lows. so we'll see some 40s mainly but not many 30s out there. 49 in san francisco. 48 in san mateo, and 45 degrees in san jose. 41 in morgan hill. and it will be a fairly pleasant day tomorrow. we'll see sunnier conditions the far her east and south you are, with temperatures still getting into the low 70s once again in livermore and san jose, 71. san francisco, 64. and in santa rosa, napa, look for the rain to move in in in
