gpa. >> it's daunting see these common schools, you probably don't have a much chance getting in to. >> they have five counselors and one advisor for 1600 students. is is why college parents hire independent college advisor michelle myers to help them navigate the college application process. she says advanced placement courses could help students increase their gpa beyond a 4.0. >> i do if the student feels they are going to successful in it. they are going to kill themselves to try to pull a "b" in that class and other courses may suffer from it, i don't recommend it. >> she advises the students to take the s.a.t. and att in the spring and then their senior year. >> because they become very focused and mature over the summer summer. >> get to know your high school
