morning. the story for the afternoon intensifying heat for your weekend. today suspended sheriff ross mirkarimi has one more chance to try to get his job back before facing the ethics commission, but it doesn't look promising. he will go before a superior court judge to argue his suspension should be lifted. the judge has already issued a tentive ruling that would indicate he will not lift the suspension. yesterday the same judge ruled a motion filed by mirkarimi that would have remove the city attorney from the case. a city attorney says mirkarimi's motions show desperation with >> i think he's in serious jeopardy of removal. of course it serves him to try and short circuit that process. >> today mirkarimi is expected to argue for reinstatement by claiming mayor lee tried to dismiss him for official misconduct before he was sworn in as sheriff. the suspension was ordered by the mayor after mirkarimi pleaded guilty to false
