close. let me show you a live shot. we're looking for mt. tam, and we have coastal clouds moving in. here's how we did today. so, in santa rosa, 89 degrees. but in terms of beating records, 93 was what we had to beat, set in 2009. now we got close to our record in san jose just by a degree. 91 in san jose. 92, set in 2009. monterey, far from it. 69 degrees. so didn't quite get there but we did really enjoy a beautiful, warm day, temperat temperaturesr 90 degrees. now, currently it's still a very warm for this time of the evening. 74 right now in antioch. 71 in san rafael. a lot of clear skies over most of the bay area, except for long the coast and that's where we're going to see a big cooldown tomorrow. currently 50 in san francisco, still 72 in san jose, yesterday

at this time we were several degrees warmer, but tomorrow things are going to change. in fact we might be cooler by double digits in some locations. clear inland, coastal clouds, patchy fog along the coast, overnight into tomorrow. it will be sunny once again, but temperatures cooler and then we're talking about a chance of rain mid-week? i thought the rain was over but it's actually coming back to us again. so, as we look at the satellite radar image, this area of high pressure that brought us the nice warm air and also with this clockwise flow we're seeing a southerly surge and that's going to publish -- push the coastal clouds into the inland. and then it starts to pull away, but we'll see partly cloudy conditions along maybe parts of the north bay, maybe even the peninsula. but then generally sunny skies for most everybody. so, for tonight, temperatures still mild.

warm air mass over the bay area. look for 50s. 52 in san rafael. 53, oakland. 54, fremont. 54, santa cruz. tomorrow, things warm up nicely. just not quite as hot as today. san jose, up to 78 degrees with a lot ofandhine. and also along the coast, you'll notice, 60s in pacifica, 62, but then around the bay, still some mid-to-upper 70s on parts of the peninsula. san francisco, having a hard time downtown getting up to 70-degrees and in the north bay, look for mild conditions and temperatures in the 70s as well. 78 in napa. low to mid-70s long the east bay, up to 75 in castro valley, and inland communities, warming up to the mid-80s. maybe 86 in brentwood. doesn't look like we'll quite get up to 90. 91 in some locations. look for upper 70s as well in

show you how warm it was today compared to average. we were anywhere from 15 degrees above average, for example, in santa rosa, close to -- well, about 19 degrees above normal. and then san jose was the big change, where we were 20 degrees above normal. but things are going to change and we're going to cool down by tuesday. we'll actually be close to average for everyone around the bay area. it will be clear in inland with coastal clouds moving in, trading patchy fog, especially along the coastal elevation or higher elevation areas along the coast. sunny again, but cooler tomorrow. then chances of rain, there's moving in towards the bay area by mid-week. this will bring an increased sea breeze, and temperatures will be coming down. then it will clear back again. we'll see mainly sunny conditions around the bay area with partly cloudy conditions along the coast. lows continue, pretty mild in
