>> greg stokes was a secret service supervisor and plans to fight his firing and go public. >> it's unheard for an agent to talk about what is going on in the secret service. >> juan kessler contains agency management is lax and stokes may use that as a defense. >> talks about corner-cutting and believes he is doing a public service, and he is. others say he is trying to make himself look better. >> stokes is one of 12 agents investigating for drinking, hiring pros constitutes, and a disagreement over paying a president -- prostitute before the president arrived. >> talking about the kind of problems that occur in the secret service. >> the washington post records it was the new south american secret service supervisor, a woman, who heard the allegations, sent the agents home and started gathering evidence.

>> she asked, appropriately, and i can't help but wonder if there had been more women as part of the detail, if this would have happen. >> the secret service director was summoned to the white house by a -- the president and it was an opportunity for the president to get an update, rather than evaluation of the director, the scandal includes 12 secret service employees and 11 military members. six secret service members lost their jobs or resigned, and there are reports colombian authorizes are investigating whether the prostitutes were underage. >> alan: oikos university is set to resume classes tomorrow. six students were killed inside the school. tomorrow, most classes will be held in the same building where the shootings took place. several students say they won't go back unless classes are held at another location.

administrators say they're considering hold somethingcracies at oakland's patent university or fremont's unitech college. police say one goh admitted to the shooting rampage, saying he was angry at administrators for refusing to refund his admission. people are leaving condolences on the university's web site. we have a link to the web site on our site. just go to abc7news.com and under "see it on tv". and we'll have full coverage on the re-opening tomorrow on abc-7 news. >> ama: this earth weekend brought out hundreds of people to a san bruno neighborhood devastated by an intense fire in 2010. they pitched in to replant trees that were torched when a pg&e gasline exploded. sergio quintana is live with more. >> reporter: over the last year and a half this neighborhood has slowly been rebuilding, and on this sunny sunday, more than 250 people turned out.

they rolled up their sleeves for a project spearheaded by a 13-year-old. the name of that project, row foresting san bruno. >> amongst the caution tape, the houses being rebuilt, and the flowers on the chain-link fence marking where a gas-fed fire tore through this neighborhood. on this sunday there are lemon trees and blubz waiting to be planted. for those who lived through the terrible fire that burn through here when a pg&e gas line exploded a year of and a half ago, this is a we welcome day. >> very heart felt thanks from us and our neighbors. >> patty and her husband steve lost their home in the fire. so this event gives them a chance to plant something for their new home. >> you do use stakes because if it's windy your don't want the

tree to snap. >> this weekend is the brainchild of local julian levy. the volunteers turned out to plant the trees. more than 250 people all together. they unpotted and filleds dozens of trees and other plants that will soon make this neighborhood green again, after the gray of a devastating fire. >> it is kind of not only a tree and maybe a source of food and fruit but maybe a token of hope and the renaissance of san bruno may beginning. >> all of the trees were purchased through a combination of grants and fundraising by julian levy. more than $4,000 worth of greenery was planted in this neighborhood today. in san bruno,. >> ama: a newly revealed document indicatings in 1989 pg&e knew about weld defect

thoans same pipeline that caused the explosion. the memo describes a leak nine miles south of where the 2010 disaster happened. the document was turned in last month, well after the conclusion of state and federal investigations. the memo indicates the likely cause of the leak was a defective seam weld, the same problem that contributed to the san bruno blast. >> alan: firefighters in campbell suspect a pot of grease on a stove caused a fire that gutted an apartment. it happened this morning. one person ended up being rushed to the hospital of suffering burns. firefighters from santa clara county and san jose kept the flames from spreading to other apartments. aaron w september us this picture. she took it moments after the fire started. you can share your photos and videos and breaking news via you

-- >> ama: nadia lockyer revealed new details about her substance abuse issues that led to her resignation. the mercury news reports lockyer admits writing an e-mail to a reporter accusing her husband, bill lockyer, of buying her and supplying her with drugs years ago. his office denied the allegation. lockyer said her husband became so upset with her obsession with an ex-boyfriend, he said, quote, go ahead and 'commit suicide. a spokesman says the couple had a heated argument and both said things they regret. >> mark mark rimry faces an ethics commission. the commission will submit a recommendation to the board of supervisors who will take a vote on whether to remove him from office. on friday, a judge recorrected his request -- rejected his request to overturn his

suspension. he was suspended after pleading guilty to a miami minneapolis charge in a domestic violence case involving his wife. >> ama: george zimmerman could leave jail as soon as his defense team comes up with bail more than a week after he was arrested on charges of shooting teenager trayvon martin. bill was set at $150,000. during the hearing zimmerman apologized to martin's parents for shooting their son. martin's families and civil rights leaders dispute claims the neighborhood watch captain fired in self-defense. >> there's more information given at the hearing than has ever been out before. i think there's stale lot of emotions left around the case and we're worried some emotions are still negative and that may play out against george. >> ama: a condition of zimmerman's bail agreement requires him to wear an electronic monitoring device

>> alan: a blast of cold air from siberia blew through china today and tried to take everything with it. hurricane force winds made travel difficult. the winds swept through northwest china. the area is nope as the 100-kilometer wind zone because it experiences strong winds 320 days out of the year. >> ama: a big spring storm is bearing down on parts of the east, bringing heavy rain and even snow. up to three and a half inches of rain and gusts up to 30 miles-per-hour are expected in new york city. folks in pennsylvania could get a foot of snow. heavy rain cancelled baseball games in boston and washington. the giants game in new york was post-boned. lang lang -- >> alan: a meteor strike is suspected of causing shaking

today. residents report it seeing a bright meteor streaking across the sky just before 8:00 this morning. that's about the time the meteor shower was peaking and scientists believe a meteor may have hit somewhere in the sierra nevada mountains. >> frances: things are changing. here's a preview with a live shot of the golden gate bridge. most of us under sunny conditions, except along the coast, and you can notice moisture on the lens, some drizzle expected. these cloud will move in overnight. and check out the temperatures. very comfortable. in fact much more tolerable in the east bay. 85 in antioch. 80 in concord. so much cooler compared to the 90s of yesterday. 50 in san francisco. half moon bay, 54. so cooler, especially along the

coast. and talk about a temperature tumble. we're 16 degrees cooler than yesterday as this time in oakland, even santa rosa, 21 degrees cooler. we're going to be cooler even tomorrow but not as big of a drop. but we'll see fog and drizzle develop overnight, into tomorrow morning. the coastal clouds, bringing alet of cooling, and then we have been talking about the chance of rain, definitely happening mid-week. of course wednesday and thursday. here's a look at the slate sleight -- satellite radar image. we're going to see winds from the south. this is a cutoff low heading down to southern california, but what's going to bring us the reason on wednesday and thursday is another area of low pressure in the gulf of alaska and that's going to drop through to the bay area mid-week. and temperatures will be cooling again throughout the week. so here's a look at the forecast model. tonight we could see some patchy drizzle and patchy fog all along the peninsula coast, and then you'll notice into the overnight

hours, as you wake up for tomorrow morning's commute, a lot of fog and low clouds developing into the delta and the east bay, and that will start to clear out by lunchtime, and then by the afternoon, we could see possibly a light shower in the north bay hills and then dry on monday. monday morning, look for the lows in the 50s. santa rosa, down do 49. look fountain for the drizzle and fog along the coast, and then tomorrow, pretty mild around the bay area. but you'll notice it's a lot cooler compared to today. we don't see 90s at all like we did on saturday. tomorrow will be in the low 70s. 70 in san jose. 64 in san francisco, and 59 in half moon bay. also, much cooler around monterey bay, with some 64. santa cruz and watson veil, -- watsonville. here's the accuweather seven-day forecast. a lot of changes in store.

>> we're enjoying great weather in the bay area. the same cannot be said about new york city. heavy rain postponed the giants-mets game and they'll play a doubleheader tomorrow. it was raining little leaguers at the coliseum at the a's and indians wrapped up their series. 1-0 in the third. cliff pennington rips one into the gap. weeks scores from first. the game is tied. the a's took the lead in the next inning. smith connects with a man on. his first home run since coming to oakland. 3-1. pitching on his 25th birthday, ross gets the win, gets some help from weeks two turns a line drive into a double play. the a's got an insurance run from kurt suzuki, who brings home the fellow hawaiian. >> oh, yeah.
