is continuing and the company will buy a group of patents just purchased by microsoft. and it was also earnings day for net flix. as expected the company a able to expand it's base by $1.7 million. there is now 23 million domestic streaming subscribers but the take away is that net flix said customer growth may slow by half and probably more, shares are plunging in after hours. at one point down 16% and net flix tries to fend off competition from comcast, verizon, amazon, hulu and several others. the company may return to profitibility next quarter but investors seem to be focused on customer editions or lack therefore. net flix posted a loss on costs.
