it's getting ready to take off. when we're here, it will be skyward and headed towards farallons. and this is the type of thing they can hand yes. tons of weight. and at the farallons the boat lies on the rocks as you know. and that sky 7 has been showing you crews in red here and getting ready to rig the boat. i know they had to warm up the engine. what is going to happen now is that there is there is a hook they're going to use because the boat on the farallons has been rigged with various ropes and that sort of thing. they'll took it on, then bring it back here. there is a truck that is here as well. they're going to have to adjust it when they do that

and then, they'll haul it to whenever it is they're going to take it. they -- the engines have warmed up and this is picking up quick speed. rpm is a big kind of helicopter. this is a find that are used sometimes fighting forest fires. sort of a strange-looking shape but they can haul their weight. and i'm waiting for to it take ox you know five people were killed in that tragic accident. the crew of eight. and the race around the farallons. i think the people came by who may be friends or family members and wanted to be part of the operation as they bring it back here. i have a feeling some will show up because this is a way to bring closure.

yacht racing accident. police didn't find criminal negligence and handed over to baigs to the district attorney. >> the police report did not you ever kun allen -- did uncover allen cahill was among five killed in this tragedy. a survivor, james broadford was thought to be at the helm of the boat but that is not the case. >> we'll go back to don sanchez monitoring the take off of the helicopter but oikos university reopened today. three weeks after a shooting rampage that ended with deaths of seven people but only one class was held at the site. the suspect is in a swrail infirmary tonight because he's refusing to eat. >> we're expecting to hear the university would open today. of course, it did. what we're not expecting is to hear the alleged gunman

we're continuing to stay on top of the story of the big helicopter, the sky crane taking off from half moon bay just minutes ago on the way to the farallon islands. it's time to salvage a yacht involved in a deadly crash. >> this is a week ago. it's about a 20 minute flight. there is the hook that will be used and what they have strapped this boat. and the crane will lift it boat and bring it back to the airport. it will be on a flat bed and taken to salvage. but this is now underway. we'll update you as the hour progresses once this gets offer to is the farallon autos an earth day demonstration turning into a standoff between occupiers and uc berkeley. and they have now taken over a plot of university-obed land to grow vegetables. >> this group called occupy the farms says it's gotten an mazingly warm reception from

look at the loop you can see low clouds and fog up against the coastline. yes there is lots of moisture in clouds there is 5/100ths in oakland hills and drenching drizzle in santa cruz. 7/100ths there. right now we're looking at mainly dry conditions and it's mild. there is 61 in san francisco. 57 in half moon bay. these are the highlights. clouds and drizzle overnight into mid day tomorrow, showers are likely and could with heavy at times, then warm, dry condition was us again by weekend. satellite radar shows two weather systems moving into our direction. there is system one, not too far off shore and system two is farther back. it's into our direction as well. at 5:00 wednesday morning we'll have clouds around and

there are showers starting by mid morning wednesday, will be wide spread across the bay area. and may intensify in spots into afternoon. there could be thundershowers or two. and into evening hours and dissipating then, system two arrives bringing showers in mid morning thursday. by 10:00 thursday morning we'll have certainly have had wet weather but there are showers bringing us rainfall totals between a tenth and a half inch through thursday morning and then additional rain throughout the day thursday into thursday night. so there is some drizzle possible near the coast. low temperatures on the mild side into mid-50s, then, tomorrow there is some sunny breaks and east bay high temperatures will be rising

the state is cracking down on price gouging to stores catering to low income women and their children. the families relie on the federally funded program but according to a bay citizen investigation a growing number of independent markets that accept wic vouchers charge as much as $10 for a box of serial. >> when you have a bad actor out there taking more money than they should for a box of serial you're taking money out of the mounls of babe autos one store owner says he has to hike prices on some products to makeup for losses on others that don't sell gs he claims he has to carry to meet wic guideline autos lawmakers are considering a bill that would create a mattress recycling program in the state. the problem of old mattresses dumped into city streets has gotten worse.

and this sky crane is a very owed-looking helicopter. and there is closer to half moon bay airport. it's been used in many instances fighting fires and lifting heavy equipment on buildings so... as owed-looking as this is, it's an efficient work horse. >> and there is the end result of a tragic yachting accident with a number of experienced boaters. there yacht we ares were with 4800 other boats and had this tragic accident. >> and they jury just swamp bid giant waves that just had this tragic result. and there is a search, took several dyes identify how many people had been lost.
