filed a lawsuit against two grocery store chains. >> the group claims it found lead in the store brand honey. and there is michael finney here with the story. >> the center for environmental health in oakland found dead in many toys turns it's attention to honey. the group files suit claiming the store brand honey at ravels contains unsafe levels of lead finding lead up to twice the legal limit in california. the outlet says it's removed the honey from store shelves and would not want to sell a product in violation of law. we have not heard back from ravels. how did -- ralphs. saying leeches from met cal containers used to store honey. too much exposure is linked to cancer and birt defects. state leaders decided california chefs will not be

able to serve duck liver pate. a group of 100 chefs asked lawmakers to keep it on menus. a ban takes affect this july. today, legislatures said they'll not reconsider the ban. they now want to focus on the state budget. the ban inspired by the i team report showing how ducks are force fed through tubes up to three times per day. a passenger is in trouble for capturing video of a bird strike on a delta airline flight. here, check this out. you can see birds fly by, then get sucked into the plane engines. it happened during takeoff at jfk. the passenger is now in trouble because passengers were supposed to have had electronic devices turned off at the time. he says he didn't think he did it thinking they were doomed.

developing in the north bay. we'll show you what it looks like. ocean beach there is mid-50s in areas today and brisk. it's been a chilly one near the coastline. taking a look at the satellite picture there are mid and high level clouds coming in in advance of the system that is going to bring us rain. breezy this afternoon. winds continue five to 10 degrees cooler than average this time of the year, we're going to bring in spring showers, here are the winds now gusting to 24 miles per hour at sfo. 35 out of the southwest at fairfield. and there are 23-year-ol 23-year-old -- miles per hour winds, we're going see winds for the next couple hours. winds mid 50 as long the coast. and then, getting well inland in places like antioch and ep

we have breaking news happening in the east bay. all southbound lanes of 880 in oakland at 23rd avenue are shut down right now because of an accident there at the off ramp. we understand involving two cars. not sure the extent of the injuries but it's a pretty serious accident. we'll run down more information for you at 6:00. >> and drug enforcement agency apologized to a student who was mistakenly left in a holding cell four days without food, water or toilet. officials say the 23-year-old was picked up during a drug raid, his attorney says he was questioned and told he would be released. he was handcuffed and placed
