ron webber was on facebook when he heard from someone he thought was a numy co-worker. his fake friend said it came from the numy reemployment center the training program. so webber e mailed the contact he said all i had to do is give him $1500. wire it to carolinea or something like that. >> what is what webber did. to an address in north carolina making him eligible for its $120,000 grant, he was told, then told to wire more money, $2155 che did. he got suspicious when a cousin contacted him and started giving him wrong information. >> i started asking him how is my uncle little doichblg he said just fine. there is another mistake because he's dead. >> at this point webber says he recognized he was the victim of a scam and there may be others. it appears they're joining

numy groups and assuming identity of friends to dupe additional victims. the numy center sent out warning e mails to 2700 clients oof course we're victims as well. they're using our name and certainly. yeah. we feel the pain as well. >> the case is being handled by north carolina police, livermore police putting out a warning. >> when putting something on the internet you don't know who you're talking to. you may be one of your friends. may be someone unknown to you who is collecting information to make you victim of a crime. >> i don't feel bad. i don't. it's just my identity and my friends and family. especially hitting my family. that is what bothered me. >> we reached out to facebook for comment about this incident and no one got back to us. ron worked for numy 20 years and hez he's not bothered he

>> 19 people are in custody because of the year and a half long investigation that led to yesterday's raid. now, they decap tated the leadership of two very violent gangs, police say there still a gang problem but yesterday was a significant victory in the war against gangs. the gang unit out again one day after the raids cruising gang neighborhoods. the sargeant danny gills saw several young people he didn't recognize. he questioned them, took notes and photographed them. police say yesterday's large scale gang sweep destroyed the core of two violent factions in south san francisco. the 500 block and c street gangs but they say there is still three active gangs left. three too many. >> we'll pull in every resource to ensure you're off the streets. >> sargeant gill heads the

we have new information tonight on the death of former football star junior seau. the 911 call revealed she found his body on the bed in a spare bedroom after returning home from the gym. she pleaded for help and tried to perform cpr. seau shot himself in the chest wednesday, the day his family confirmed it will donate his brain for research into repetitive head injury autos suspicious package discovered in san francisco today has now been cleared. sky 7 hd flew over the scene in san jose avenue and the bomb squad robot checked out what appears to be a suitcase tethered to a pole. police are not verifying whether or not it was explosives but they did blow it up and it's been cleared. traffic muni and bart are all back to normal now. >> and there are many traditions within the san
