was laterced dead pronounced de area hospital. >> reporter: overnight they were treated at a local hospital. they appear unharmed although they were hungry and dehydrated. mayes, a former brother-in-law to the bain family, was at the tennessee home of the little girls the night they disappeared. police say mayes kidnapped alexandria and kyliyah when he killed their mother jo ann bain and 14-year-old sister adrienne. their bodies found buried outside his home charged with first degree murder and aggravated kidnapping. authorities believe mayes drove bodies to this trailer where he lived. the fbi says mayes' motives remain unclear but he may have thought the little girls were his kids. >> there was two little girls that he was just absolutely obsessed with. he was claiming that those two children were his. >> made us all think that was his kids. >> reporter: investigators believe mayes had help. his mother mary mayes and his
