brown. lisa is here to talk bat forecast, and there's nothing in the forecast that will calm people down about their fire fears if that's what is on their minds. >> we are crankling up the heated to in the inland valleys where they worry about that. concord and livermore approaching 90 today. but it's only a one-day event. we will be cooling off thanks to this, the low fog and clouds from the golden gate bridge. very low fog that's allowing visibility to be reduced to less than a mile. from the camera you can see the top of. that we are looking at 800 to 1,000 feet. 6:02 the official sunrise and setting at 8:11. you have a neat picture, and we will look for the summertime spread today with numbers about 30 to 35 degrees from the coast to the inland valleys. it's in the mid-50s on the peninsula and fremont and 56 in mountain view. 56 for san jose and 46 the cool spot in napa and 54 by the delta. we are looking at the reduced
5:47 am
visibility here. three quarters of a mile. half moon bay a mile and three quarters up toward napa, and about six miles in san jose. so as we look at our highlights, we have the fog at the coast. it is dense in spots, but we will be warming today as much as four to six degrees in our inland valleys. so that will take us up to well above average. in fact, as much as ten degrees above average for this time of year. and then cooler, breezier weather heads our way tomorrow. so with temperatures being knocked down another five to ten degrees in some spots. so really that is the trend over the next seven days with the numbers coming up, then down, and back and forth. here's why. we've got the setup that should allow for the strong northerly winds and the slight offshore flow, but he also have the fog being pulled up from the south at the same time. so the two of these mechanisms interacting for the breezy conditions around the bay, closer to the shoreline. but as you head inland that
5:48 am
influence really just only makes it a couple of miles from the coast. we are looking at the dry conditions, the warmer numbers in the valleys, and in fact this morning the fog extends further south along the central coast to salinas and watsonville and monterey. we are really looking at that fog shallow, but where you do have it, some problems. temperatures statewide, look at the spread. we are in the 60s at big sur. 84 in yosemite, look like summer there. 70 in the northern receiver raw. 73 in los angeles with 95 in vegas, and back home some 60s here. it depends on where you are. stinson should get some sunshine. point ray should be cloudy as well as ocean beach with 68 downtown. 76 in oakland today. 83 in fremont with 78 in san rafael. about 80 santa rosa, and 86 in morgan hill, and 67 in monterey. the accuweather seven-day forecast, we have the fog this morning but low 90sic land.
