>> champoning justice for alan moorehead. they marched here to oakland's station on 73rd avenue. they're protesting the shooting of alan blueford. his father and mother spoke to at the crowd and said their son would not have shot at police and say it's an unjustified shooting. >> we want the police to let us know what happened to our son, why he was shot, the bullets. we want to know what happened to our son. >> he was looking forward to the future. he knew what trade school he was going to attend. he just made plans, and now all of his plans are for. >> the 18-year-old was shot here on birch street. police say two officers tried to stop three young men on international boulevard. blueford, who police say was on felony juvenile probation for burglary, bolt and was chased by

the unidentified officer who police say only fired his weapon after bluford pointed a gun at him. the officer fired four shots. one hit the officer in the foot. he is an administrative leave. >> the shooting is under investigation. and bluford was sed to -- set to graduate from highline high school this june. >> alan: occupy the farm protesters say they're not going up, even though they dismantled their enencampment on a piece of land owned by uc berkly. >> organizers called the community meeting taking place behind me, and you can see there are several people who are just not comfortable staying on the land. some left the land, a lot of them are on the land, and uc reps were invited but no one has

shown up. >> food justice and equity for all people. >> this meeting's focus is the future of the farm, known at gill tract, uc berkeley owned parcel of land used by the college of natural resources. >> we're not here to get raided and have it be a spectacle. we are here because we want this land preserved as a ag land. >> cal insisted that's what it's idea for but demonstrators don't believe it. the moved in, put up tends and started farming, and to make access easier, they built a ladder and slide as police and security stood by. yesterday occupiers got an ultimatum. leave the farm and taken a meeting or risk prosecution. the only thing that left the farm today were tents and sleeping bags. >> anyone with gear, it all came

out. >> the uc has been focusing too much on the encampment. it's been clearly a consensus issue for them and the researchers so as a symbol of good faith we're removing our encampment. >> an important first step. we declare -- with a few dozen untrained and uninvited guests and what is an open-air laboratory. >> the demonstrators plan to continue farming the land daily, and some say they'll stay with or without tents. >> i would like to be able to protect the easement. >> the university has filed a lawsuit against more than a dozen of these demonstrators. they are accused of trespassing and of being a nuisance. live in albany. abc-7 news. >> ama: the effort to recall oakland mayor jean quan is now over. one of the last efforts to get enough signatures to put a recall on the ballot.

jean hard posted a notice on his web site saiding they could not get the 19,800 signatures needed for a recall. loleini mitt romney took a shot at president obama's support of same-sex marriage today. >> ama: will the issue turn into a political weapon? >> culture, what you believe, what you value, how you live, matters. marriage is a relationship between one man and one woman. >> reporter: mitt romney, speaking at the commencement at the christian conservative liberty university re-affirmed his stand on the controversial issue taking center stage this week on the campaign trail, same-sex marriage. on wednesday, 'president obama's announcement he supports same-sex marriage. >> at a certain point i just concluded that for me personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that i

people to focus better. >> research finds many young people are ignoring the danger of skin cancer. cdc found that half of americans age 18 to 29 had at least one sunburn in the last year and 6% say they regularly use indoor tanning beds. the report finds skin cancer risk jumped 75% among people who use tanning beds before they turn 5. >> alan: in oakland, community members are teaching others how to bridge the gap between the time of an indent and the time medical help arrives. the medics who say they're community receives slow response times taught others how to provide emergency first aid for seizures, gunshot wounds and trauma. >> we're not trying to replace 9-1-1. we're trying to add a cushion between the time of the accident until the emts get there. role of patients who needed first aid. organizers say it can take time for police to secure the area. >> the bay area is gearing up for one of the largest cycling races in america. the amgen ticks off -- kicks off tomorrow morning. it will wind through five bay area counties and wrap up in livermore on tuesday. the tour is nothing new to the bay area but there are new challenges, including a climb occupy mt. diablo. more than two million people are expected to line the route. the tour will finish on may 20th in southern california. >> leigh: should be really nice for the cyclist as temperatures start to cool down heading into mother's day tomorrow, monday and tuesday. so at least the first leg here in the bay area should be quite mild for the cyclists. you can see making your way over the golden gate bridge, the low clouds and fog just barreled in here overnight, and just kind of

sat there all day long. that's why temperatures there only in the upper 50s today. but check out san jose, lots of blue sky. temperatures warming into the low 80s for you guys. in fact here is a look at some highs for today. san jose, 81. 90, antioch. livermore, 89, concord. the further you got to the bay and the coast, the numbers started to drop down bus of the low clouds and fog sitting just off the post. half moon bay, 60. 63 in san francisco. clear lake, 90. here's a look at our current readings, 88 in antioch. 62 in oakland. 66 in san francisco. santa rosa, 67. and 76 in san jose. we're going to go with the low clouds and fog, could be dense in some locations to move inland. a cooler and breezier day

tomorrow, mother's day, as a strongerup shore wind component moves in, and expect the cooling to stay with us as we head into at least the first part of next week. you can see the fog bank sitting just off the coast. temperatures today in the 50s. the low 089s inland but we have an area of low pressure off the coast and that's going to push a lot of this further inlean so temperatures definitely coming down for all locations tomorrow. overnight tonight, maybe drizzle coastside as the marine layer start thozs to thicken up. antioch dropping to 58. here's a look at the forecast. overnight tonight, we'll continue to see the onshore winds increasing, and all of the marine lair, low clouds and fog moving further inland. 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, dense fog coast cede and near the bay, maybe exphiz mist and

drizzle. the coast will notice the temperatures coming down, inland locations mild tomorrow. mid-to-low 80s. cool near the bay waters, and then near the cost, cool conditions with gusty winds, maybe some mississippi and drizzle, too. here's the highs for mother's day. north bay, generally upper 70s. 78 for napa. santa rosa, 78. interior east bay. mild. 82, concord. 78 for san jose. morgan hill, 79. keep it breezy. santa cruz, watsonville, mid-to-low 60s and 82 for gilroy. the seven-day forecast. cool sunday and monday and then warm things up as we head into mid-week. tuesday and wednesday, into the 80s inhappen, and another drop or a dip in temperatures thursday and friday. so, kind of a yo-yo up and down scenario. >> alan: not too shabby.
