san antonio blocking a lane. they need a flatbed tow truck. drive time is 16 minutes this is causing about an eight minute delay. westbound 580 heavy as you head towards the altamont pass because of an accident at grant line. slow there as well. the bay bridge toll, only a minor back-up. we are following breaking news out of napa. police are going door-to-door as part of their investigation into an incident late last night where an officer shot a suspect. it happened in the 2100 block of parish road as the officers struggled with the suspect in the backyard of a home. the suspect was taken to a medical center. the officer was not hurt. it is not clear yet what the suspect was wand for. amy hollyfield is headed -- was wanted for. amy hollyfield will buy a live report later. -- sunnyvale and the upheaval at yahoo. the company has appoint add enter -- appointed an interim

ceo after scott thompson resigned over the weekend. >> reporter: the revelation is that scott thompson has thyroid cancer. the "wall street journal" is reporting he told the board about that as he resigned yesterday. of course he is stepping down amid a scandal about his resume, i should say his official biography. it claimed he a computer science degree as well as accounting degree. he only has the accounting degree. the chips are falling from there. we know five board members who had previously mentioned they would be leaving the company have actually resigned immediately. they feeling the pressure having signed off on hiring thompson. one of those board seats will be filled by daniel lobe the activist shareholder who brought the resume scan tell to light. ross levinson has been named interim ceo. experts are hoping he can help

focused on the middle of the street now on parish road in napa this street runs between a laundromat and 7-eleven they've blocked it off for several hours. this -- they got called here 11:00 last night, a man was shot in the backyard of a home. police were called and they haven't told us why. somehow ended up in a foot chase with the suspect and it ended with a police officer shooting that suspect. that man was taken to the hospital. police are not said how he's doing but tell us he did survive the shooting. now the sheriff's department has taken over this investigation. police are still here, taking pictures, crime scene unit truck is here. the sheriff's office will be the lead agency on this. we are expecting more information this morning after both agencies gather their evidence and exchange information with each other. stay with us on this developing story.

albany. you see the police in the middle of the street getting ready to do whatever it is they are going to do. a few officers in riot gear showed up to clear out any remaining occupiers from what -- the piece of land cal owns that it uses for agricultural research. occupiers moved in a few weeks ago and began planting crops. the university said it was willing to share the land in some capacity. but talking broke down over the weekend. so cal warned it would take action soon. the occupiers moved their tents and rest of their camp outside the finances line this morning. so they say -- outside the fence line this morning. so they say they are no longer trespassing. you see uc police officers inside the tract fence line warning occupiers to leave or face arrest. we'll bring you a live report
